My wife got this for me as a gift and I love it! The construction seems very sturdy (I've only used it for one trip so far), but all the stitching seems solid. All the material is sturdy and feels like it will last forever. I like the pockets; a couple inside, one with a zipper and a couple open for a phone or other small items; and one 2 on the outside, one zippered and one covered by a magnetic closure flap. The leather is a little stiff, but I'm expecting that will break in very nicely with use. I'm really happy with the bag overall and would recommend it. The color looks really nice, a rugged travel ready feel and appearance. And a great deal for the money. I would have expected it to cost much more for what it is.

I ordered both the weekender bag and the backpack for an upcoming trip to Central America. The quality of this bag is amazing and the cool factor is unmatched. The only thing I found a bit odd is that the duffel bag is waxed canvas and the backpack is regular canvas so it’s not a perfect match, but it’s close.I won’t repeat others’ reviews, all of which I read before buying. The one thing I’ll add is that the way the bags hang is great. Some bags look fine in a photo but awkward when you actually carry them. I tried to capture in the photos the way they look - though granted, I don’t have much stuff in them yet.In some of the other reviews I found it difficult to discern the color. The color is a true army green, like you imagine when you think of a uniform. It’s not verging on gray or taupe as it looks in some of the photos.The only concern I have is whether the peg holes on the backpack that serve to fasten the top flap are going to stand the test of time. Also, the Velcro flap on the outside pocket of the backpack is a bit 80s—but now I’m just being nit-picky. It has a lot of great compartments and does hold a small Swell bottle.

I LOVE THIS DUFFEL BAG! I received multiple compliments on it while traveling. Study, durable canvas, fits easily into the airlines overhead compartments. This bag is PERFECT for quick overnight stays, camping or hotels!2 exceptions though: 1. I wouldn't recommend loading it down heavy which is easy to do because of its size. Unless you are doing an overnighter somewhere you aren't hauling it on your shoulder for miles in an airport. This got to be painful after a while with multiple lay-overs and walking across the entire airport to get to my next plane. (I should have taken my roller-bag but wanted to give this bag a chance) 2. Due to the weight the shoulder strap spring came unhinged. I will need to repair it, which shouldn't be that hard and does NOT detour me from rating this bag 5 stars! I would buy this again, but I have a feeling this one will last me a VERY long time!

Thought I would give this a shot as I’ve been looking for a good quality weekender for some time. Bought for travel to Arizona and Las Vegas. I am not only pleasantly surprised, I will be purchasing another for my husband. Quality is top notch! Leather is fantastic. Bag is attractive and sturdy. I was able to use this as a carryon and just carry my handbag otherwise. Perfect for my week away!

I am very impressed with the size, quality, and pockets of this duffel bag. It has 3 inner pockets and two outside pocket which is great for putting all those little small travel items. So far I took it on 3 flights and had no issues using it as a carry on and fit perfectly in the overhead compartment. The zippers feel sturdy and seem to be hold up rather well once everything is packed up. It can hold a good amount of clothing and items so its great for weekend trips. There are only two things I came across which forced me to only give it 4 stars. One being the brown leather that is wrapped on each corner rubbed off onto my jeans and it was very difficult to clean. The last thing is the shoulder pad that is on the strap I've been unable to adjust it to sit right on my shoulder.

The handles are not stitched or secured very well. The first time I picked the bag up from the airport carousel, a handle tore off. No real backing on the stitching. Bag looks nice but is NOT rugged.

After having a dog chew up my favorite weekender bag, I found myself scouring the internet for a replacement. We are heading out on a cruise soon and my weekender usually ends up being my one piece of luggage for carryon purposes. I stressed over wether to spend 3 times as much as this bag cost on bags that only "looked" nice but not functional. I had enjoyed my previous bag for about 5 years. I finally figured for the price, if it didn't work out I could always give it as a gift.This bag definitely did NOT disappoint me! This bag is functional, sturdy and gets all the cool points! The price is fantastic and I received it within 24 hours.The side pockets and latches are extremely well place and sturdy, the zipper is sturdy as well as the straps and handles.Definitely one of my better purchases through Amazon!

Nice and beautiful. My husband really loves it! Looks like good quality, very laidback look design. I originally bough it to my husband use it as gym bag but It's too big for this purpose. It's a perfect size for a one/three days trip or for carry on. Can be carried by the handles or as a "crossbody" using the long straps. There are hooks to hold the straps when not in use, what is very useful. The outside pockets are great for small objects you might want to be handy like cellphone, tooth brush, etc... It comes in a dusty-bag to keep it clean while not in use. It's a 10/10 in my opinion.
