It is what it says it is....a big ass duffel, no pockets or separators, just get it in there. I purchased this prior to a deployment to a central latitude country whom we do not have a SOFA with. I have USG issued duffel bags that cost quite a bit more than this Pelican, but I am trying to avoid looking like a 1990s ODA team in the terminal. Save for any catastrophic failures, this should last for years. The one plus this has over other wheeled duffels is the solid base and handle.....very easy to roll around and it's solid. Most (all?) wheeled duffels have soft bases and straps as handles. Only complaint is the 'Pelican' cast into the base plastic on the rear and the rubber logo on the front. However, the front logo can be covered up with black marker or removed completely by cutting out the stitching. This is not Pelican's fault, it is very subtle branding....but branding that says steal me nonetheless.

This was my first foray into high end luggage. The premium price does deliver a much better product. Solidly built and quality wheels which is very important. Overall I'm happy with it but as others have said, the zipper while heavy duty is difficult to work with. I recommend with that in mind.

I travel a lot. This bag is ideal. It’s well constructed, holds more than it looks like it can, and stands out in a crowd of black square 4-wheel bags. The wheels roll well and are super durable. I tested it out the brick sidewalks of San Francisco and had no issues. I only wish it was expandable. But I pack too much so it’s forced me to be smarter about what I need to bring! Great bag. In full disclosure, I bought this on a sweet deal on Amazon. I would not have paid the full price, but at the discount, this bag was well worth it.

This duffel is holding up well to the airport luggage handling gorillas. You remember that ad if you are old enough. So far no damage to report and it has been on a couple of dozen flights. The only annoyance is that the handlers keep grabbing the tucked strap ends instead of the numerous handles. I love all the handles.

This luggage met all of the advertised expectations. I bought it as a gift for my son and he was impressed with its light weight and durable build. And it was at a discounted price.
