ZERO CARE (Care Guide)
1. Your plant is living in a germ-free, sealed environment. To avoid contamination to the gel, PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE JAR LID!
2. Remove any temporary protective film from the jar. 
3. No watering or feeding needed. The gel provides complete nutrition. Older leaves dying off is normal. As long as you see new shoots from the rhizome, your plant is healthy!
4. Avoid strong (sun)light. Display in indirect sun, or use a LED grow light at least 6" away. Please understand added light may cause slight interior condensation.

Is this from clone or seed?

These and other Venus Flytraps are grown from a cloning process "exoplants" where a tiny part of the plant tissue can grow an entire new plant. So growers do not rob plants from protected natural environments. Plants like these and orchids can be replenished over and over in an eco friendly and ethical way

Is the plant susceptible to dying after opening? Would it be less resistant compared to if it were grown in soil instead?

That said plant the roots in special soil they sell.
In a container where it is lower than top.
Cover top in light plastic.
You want a humid atmosphere, 
After a good growing start open the plastic cover a little at a time over a period of a couple of weeks.
When totally removed, enjoy

how much will the plant grow?

Not real big. It'll be smaller than the pic you see here when it arrives and it will grow to slightly bigger than the pic somewhat filling out the dome.  I tried taking it out after it looked like it ran its course and putting it in soil made for carnivorous plants.  It lasted a week or so and died. Could still be possible I guess.
