Best Travel Backpack I’ve Owned – Used on Every Trip for 2 Years! I’ve had this TRIPPED Travel Gear 35L Foldable Backpack in Granite Grey for over two years now, and it’s been my go-to bag on every single trip – from tropical getaways in Maui to multiple cruises, beach days, city explorations, and everything in between. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. To be totally honest, I was pleasantly surprised when I received it in the mail. It packs down super small, and you can tell the material is durable from the first touch. The zippers are high quality and not anything like other 'cheap' travel daypacks I've used before. Pockets are sensible in size and actually practical. I also dig the 'hooks' (for lack of better words) that I can clip a carabiner on and lug along a hat, etc. The side water bottle pocket is a huge plus for anyone who knows how frustrating it can be to not have easy access to their Nalgene sized water bottle on hikes, day walks, or whatever. I wore this on a long day hike and had zero problems with comfort, accessibility, and storage size. It's super lightweight too- which for anyone packing for a while knows this is gold. I've traveled all over the world, and always need a bag that can 'do it all' and not break the bank. I'm also not the most gentle of users, so I didn't want to spend a ton on something I knew may get 'misplaced' or endure some of the more rugged travel/hiking days. This bag has been the perfect fit for my needs! Would definitely recommend. Plus it comes with an awesome note from the TRIPPED folks- super personal and trustworthy! Just purchased 2 of these backpacks, one for my husband and one for me. We were going Turkey and hog hunting and needed a backpack that would be packable enough to fit in our already over packed suitcases. This backpack is very nice looking and folds up into itself to make a very small triangular shaped soft item. It easily fit into my crowded suitcase and was very light weight. When opened, it was a full size backpack. For Turkey hunting it carried many heavy brush cutting tools, my calls, first aid kit. Shells and snacks. The water holders in each side were deep and there is a strap to cinch up to keep the bottles from falling out. I was amazed at the weight this backpack could handle. The mesh straps were comfortable on my shoulders and the stitching is very heavy duty. The pack was heavily covered in red mud but wiped clean with just a damp cloth. I am so impressed with this backpack. I will continue to use it when I fly and space is limited. It will also make an excellent day pack for shopping or hiking. I really thought we would only be able to use a pack like this once then discard it. I was wrong. This pack is made very well and exceeded our expectations. The price point is low for the quality of the item.

The Tripped Travel Gear backpack has been one of our favorite pieces of gear during our year of traveling the world. It's been the perfect backpack for everything we've thrown at it, from hiking scenic trails and exploring new cities to riding scooters through busy streets and long travel days between countries. We travel with carry-on luggage only, and this backpack has been the perfect companion. It holds everything we need for the day without feeling bulky, keeps us organized with its thoughtful compartments, and is comfortable to wear even after hours of exploring. The quality has held up incredibly well through airports, buses, ferries, trains, and countless adventures. If you're looking for one backpack that can handle hiking, travel, sightseeing, and everything in between, this is it. It's become an essential part of our travels, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Overall, this pack is great, and I'd buy it again. It stood up to five straight weeks of daily use with only on minor problem (see below). The design is excellent. The interior pockets for organizing are very helpful, and the sunglass/phone pocket is a great place for items that need to accessible (we used it for an Anker battery pack). I also really like the two generously-sized waterbottle pockets on the sides, and the fact that there are straps to hold the bottle(s) in more securely. Like any daypack, if you just throw everything in without thinking, things will poke you in the back, but if you think about what going against your back, the pack itself is quite comfortable, even to carry all day, and it can handle a fair bit of weight (mine had two full Nalgene bottles in the outside pockets, several Moleskine journals, a full-sized DSLR and extra lens, and various odds and ends. The only issue we had was that (as a couple of other reviews noted) the seam right above the sunglasses pocket popped loose after about four weeks (see photo). I feel like if that seam could be more reinforced, even if it added to the cost, this would be an unbeatable bag (and at an unbeatable price!). As I said, even with the stitching issue I would buy this bag again!

I've had this backpack for nearly two years now and it has gone on trips around the country and around the world with me. The way it packs into itself makes it easy to pack it away into luggage and take for day trips/hikes. It holds a water bottle nicely in the side pocket and has a strap that keeps taller water bottles in place. The back straps are comfy and lightly padded but not super thick which helps making it ultra packable. The compartments inside and outside make it easy to pack lots of things and keep them organized. It holds more than it seems like it would! The zipper works smoothly and the backpack fabric material is lightweight and easily wipeable if it gets dirty. I've taken this on many long day hikes in various climates and it's held up well and still looks brand new!

Love this. I bought many travel items for a trip to Greece and I used this all the time. Loved how easy it was to fold down for packing. I used it everday.

Es el segundo producto que compro de esta marca y no me desepciona. Es exactamente lo que esperaba y buscaba, una mochila para el diario o para cuando viajo. Aunque extendida se ve “pequeña” no lo es en lo absoluto. Le caben muchas cosas y es sumamente práctica. También el precio es bastante justo y esa relación calidad precio es óptima. 100% recomendado!!!

This bag is better than advertised. It packs up light and small, and expands into a good sized bag. Lots of pockets and zippers to organize your stuff. Good quality and easy to use on the trails or for travel adventures.
