The good news is that these installed in literal seconds to replace a bracket that cracked on the bottom.If you have to do it from scratch it'll obviously take longer, but in my case all I had to do was unscrew the two screws from their drywall anchors, swap out the old bracket with the new, and screw it back in.Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that the old bracket extends about an inch farther from the wall than this one, so the shelf didn't fit into the cradle.So far, I haven't found the bracket I'm actually looking for, but if you've got a shorter model like this that needs replacing, this should be an easy fix. Bit pricey, but that's the drawback of only needing 1.

Replacing some old brackets that were about 25 years old and broke after I overloaded the shelf (according to my husband). This set of 2 was much more substantial than the original Closetmaid ones, but the holes lined up exactly the same.
