Installed two Crucial 64GB DDR5 RAM 5600MHz (128GB total) in an Alienware M18 R2 laptop. The maximum support for the laptop is 64GB total. I've read online that people have tried 96GB (2x48GB) with no issues, so I figure I try 2x64GB. It worked right away after the computer loaded with no issue. I did have a situation where the computer was randomly resetting itself and searched online for the solution - it usually means the RAM is not seated 100% properly, so I uninstalled and reinstalled and have had no issues since. Memory speed slows down the larger the GB you add. I purchased 5600 MHz speed and after installation and booting up, it's showing up at 5200 MHz which in my applications won't see any material differences - so going from 32 GB to 128 GB is a huge difference overall. Very happy with this purchase and makes my computer noticeably faster. If you use Google Chrome, you can now have all the windows/tabs you want open! I purchased them individually as it was cheaper and faster shipping than the 128GB kit (so two 64GB).

Works great without issue, but it's only been a few days. Couldn't find another brand or 64GB SO-DIMM RAM and I'm glad I won't need to seek any alternative as I'm having no issues with this. I'm using it for an ODROID-H4 Ultra which only supports a single channel, despite this the performance of it is great. Large-block sequential read/write tests show bandwidth well beyond expectations for an embedded system, while even small-block performance is solid. The RAM operates efficiently across various workloads and shows no sign of throttling or instability.

Bought 2 of these 64g sticks for my ms-a2. Works as expected. Odd thing, 2x individual 64gb sticks is about $80 cheaper than buying the 128gb(2x64) kit. Same memory. Unfortunately, because of the high demand for this configuration due to crucial being the only option for this capacity, they think price gouging is ok. Good job greedmongers.

I installed this in an N355 mini PC (single slot) and the BIOS detected it and used it just fine despite the official specs saying it can only support up to 32GB.

Installed in the CWWK N305 and seeing only 19GB/s in memtest. It's running at 4800MT/s so I expect at least 30-32GB/s.

Ich habe mir das 64GB-Kit für meinen Mini-PC besorgt, um mein System für speicherintensive Aufgaben wie Videobearbeitung und komplexere Multitasking-Szenarien fit zu machen. Das Modul läuft grundsätzlich absolut stabil und macht genau das, was auf der Verpackung steht – auch wenn es im Alltag kleine Einschränkungen in Sachen maximaler Geschwindigkeit gibt. Kapazität & Stabilität: Mit 64 GB DDR5-RAM hat man mehr als genug Puffer für alle modernen Anwendungen. Das ständige Auslagern von Daten auf die Festplatte (Paging) gehört damit der Vergangenheit an, was besonders bei vielen offenen Browser-Tabs oder virtuellen Maschinen für ein flüssigeres Arbeitsgefühl sorgt. Das System läuft dabei extrem stabil, Abstürze oder Kompatibilitätsprobleme gab es bei mir bisher absolut keine. Taktung (5600 MHz): Crucial gibt hier eine maximale Frequenz von 5600 MHz an. In der Praxis muss man jedoch wissen: Das Modul läuft im SODIMM-Steckplatz gut, kommt aber in Sachen Latenz und der reinen, messbaren Geschwindigkeit nicht ganz an fest verlötete LPDDR5-Speicher heran (wie sie beispielsweise in sehr kompakten Mainboards oder speziellen Mini-PCs verbaut sind). Für normale Workloads reicht der Speed der Crucial-Riegel dennoch völlig aus. Einbau & Handhabung: Ein riesiger Pluspunkt bei klassischen SODIMM-Riegeln ist die einfache Aufrüstbarkeit. Man ist nicht auf die verlötete Speichermenge ab Werk angewiesen, sondern kann den RAM mit einem Schraubenzieher in wenigen Minuten selbst wechseln oder erweitern. Praxis-Erfahrung / Anwendungstipp: Bevor ihr euch dieses große Kit bestellt, prüft unbedingt im BIOS eures Laptops oder Mini-PCs, ob das Mainboard die vollen 5600 MHz auch wirklich unterstützt. Viele ältere oder sehr kompakte Boards takten den Speicher automatisch auf 4800 MHz oder 5200 MHz herunter. Das Modul ist zwar abwärtskompatibel, ihr zahlt dann aber für Leistung, die euer System gar nicht abrufen kann. Fazit: Wer seinen kompatiblen Mini-PC oder Laptop massiv mit Speicher aufrüsten will, bekommt hier ein zuverlässiges und leicht zu installierendes Kit. Im direkten Vergleich zu verlötetem Speicher zieht die Steck-Variante beim puren Speed zwar leicht den Kürzeren, punktet dafür aber mit der grandiosen Flexibilität beim Upgrade. Ein ehrliches, grundsolides Produkt, das in meinem Fall solide 4 Sterne verdient – auch wenn der Preis für die gebotene Taktung etwas hoch angesetzt ist. - Achtet beim Einbau zwingend darauf, euch vorher statisch zu entladen (z.B. durch einen Griff an die Heizung), um die feinen Kontakte des Speichermoduls oder eures Mainboards nicht durch Kurzschlüsse zu beschädigen.
