These silicone mats work exactly as expected. They protect my countertops and table from hot pots, pans, and baking dishes straight out of the oven. The material feels sturdy, and doesn’t slide around during use. They’re also flexible enough to store easily when not needed. A simple but very useful kitchen item!

These are great and pretty easy to clean. Circles are kettle-sized, so i can boil water and bring the kettle to any surface to refill tea or whatever. Unexpected benefit is that the grippy surface discourages cat from throwing things on the floor, too. I think they would be improved by having a smaller, palm-sized one for handles of pots, but these were a good purchase.

I ordered these after having my kitchen remodeled and adding new quartz countertops. I use these to put my hot pots or bowls on when setting off the stove or oven. These work great for small pots and pans. If you are using something like a 9x13 size you will need to order the bigger size or use two together. These are also like a honeycomb design, so that makes it a little more difficult cleaning in those small sections if you get food on them. They are very flexible so I assume you could use them as potholders also but I haven’t. I usually just use my regular potholders and these as hot pads.

Love these things for everyday use as they get dirty you just toss em in the dishwasher, only complaint I have is they aren't the best for picking up really heavy things as the cells collapse under the weight and then you feel the heat but for 90% of things absolutely amazing
