Pick the size that suits your needs, just don't count on keeping your devices alive
This is an excellent travel backpack, when it arrived, it was deceptively small and compact! But once you release it from it's plastic prison, it's just like an ever expanding storage paradise! Seriously, you just keep unzipping the darn thing, and it just gets bigger and bigger, quite impressed with just how much volume you have to work with. The material also feels great, you feel like you're getting a durable bag, it's well designed with plenty of pockets/storage compartments. I especially like the built in packing space in the main storage compartment. If i was only looking at the storage capacity and quality of the bag, this would easily be 5 stars, however here's where I feel some improvements can be made.1) I was disappointed that there was not a separate inner compartment/sleeve, or internal pocket solely designed to house a powerbank (something to keep your battery from flopping around your bag as you travel; ie internal velcro strap to keep it from moving or an internal zip/sleeve).2) While it was great that this bag came with an extended USB cable that connects to the external port for ease of access, the quality of the USB cable is poor. While I admire the design, the quality of the cable does not distribute the proper amount of power from the powerbank through the extension cord, to your device. I ran several tests with my powerbank with the USB cable extension and was only lucky to charge 2.5 -3% after 10 minutes. Using my own USB cable and powerbank, I get more than 5-6% after 10 minutes, which is a significant difference (or twice as slow using the bag's feature).I purchased this bag because it gave a lot of versatility in terms of capacity, and design quality; however what pushed me to purchase this product was the convenience of the external charging port access, had I know that it would be significantly less effective at charging my phone, I would have just gotten another bag or a regular one without a port. Call me a charging snob, just don't expect the same speed charging your devices using this extended usb cable and external port.Update: Lifeasy contacted me about my purchase and provide excellent feedback and support with my bag. They have taken my comments/advice under consideration to make improvements to the bag. Now that's what I call great customer service! Looking forward to see how the changes improves the function of the bag. Thanks Lifeasy team!!

Perfect for the short weekend.
I take anywhere between 10-12 shortish (3-4 days) trips each year and never had a bag designed like a backpack to put my belongings in until I bought this bag. From the initial product page, I loved the external charging as well as the mesh covering for clothes and such. When I received the backpack, it did not look 100% like the photos. ( it was all black even the logo that was rubber) I thought it looked better than the photos so I didn’t care. The zippers are amazing and are very sturdy and seem like they will hold up. The material is adequate as well.A few minor items to consider that I didn’t necessarily like are as follows:1. The exterior charging port does not charge very fast, so if you are using your phone while plugged into the backpack, you may experience battery levels the same or maybe even lower if you are using a lot of battery.2. As others have stated, there is not a strap to hold the power bank into the pocket. It can slide around freely if your backpack gets upside down.3. I find the chest strap useless as it would essentially choke me out when I wear the backpack when it’s full, but that could be just me. (6’3”)Now to the amount of space. I took this on a 2-day trip this past weekend and I could fit this into the backpack comfortably:1. Extra pair of shoes2. Extra short sleeve and long sleeve shirt3. Two extra pairs of socks and underwear4. Sweatshirt5. Towel6. Pair of sweats.7. Power bank8. Toiletries (deodorant, cologne, etc)9. Charging cords and wall adapters10. Beanie11. Winter gloves.I could have easily fit a laptop, charger, and other thinner accessories in this as well. It really uses the space well and will use it whenever I can. Excellent value for the price.

Well designed and tough enough to withstand the rigors of travel...but durability
Update 6 months later. After 5 overseas trips plus daily use as a laptop bag to and from the office, it's falling apart. Zipper compartment holding the laptop is tearing apart. The double zipper itself only works in one direction as the opposite direction will automatically unzip itself. This is a good concept and design, just wish it was more durable.Just received this the day I was scheduled to depart for a business trip to Europe. The backpack passed its first big test-a 1 week international business trip in which it was stuffed to the maximum with a laptop, iPad, computer accessories, 4 days of clothes including an extra pair of shoes and gym clothes, and a notebook. It was packed so full that I had difficulty getting the zippers closed and was concerned about them tearing apart. But they held up just fine. The separate pocket for the laptop makes going through airport security a breeze, and the fact that the main storage opens up like a book instead of a clamshell makes packing and unpacking much easier. So far, off to a good start and hopefully it will last for a long time and many more trips.

Cool, Sleek bag
The media could not be loaded. I bought this backpack to replace my personal carry on bag for an upcoming trip and as a weekend travel bag. I usually carry two laptops, one for work and my personal laptop for gaming. One is 15' in and the other is 17'; they both fit in the laptop compartment together which is what I needed and I still have spaces to stuff my 17' laptop cooling pad.Very pleased with the outside portable battery connector and the suit case strap. The chest strap buckles can adjust up or down as well as length across your chest. Hopefully, will be convenient for airport travel. The material doesn't feel cheap and it's waterproof. Haven't had a chance to test the durability yet, but will update if anything breaks or changes. So far, so good!

Fantastic carry-on (laptop friendly)
I picked this up recently to use on short flights (1-4hours). My regular laptop bag was a little too bulky. It fits under the seat of planes as large as an 767 to smaller than a Dash-8. (It fit under the seat of a Fairchild Metroliner!).It has enough compartments for all of my small random crap, a few magazines, iPad, e-reader and of course my laptop. The straps are very adjustable and it’s comfortable enough to wear while navigating around an airport. It has one of those little strap thingies so that it will securely slide over the extendable handle on your luggage. In terms of putting clothing into it I wouldn’t recommend more than maybe just a sweatshirt or something. It’s job isn’t to be a suitcase though. It’s a laptop/GO-bag. It’s nice for going through airport security as well because the zippered inner compartment designed for your laptop is blaze orange in color so even in lower light conditions you can get to it pretty quickly. Strong durable zippers. *My laptop fits perfectly in there and it’s dimensions are 9.5”x15”* I would not recommend this bag to you if you expect to use the inner laptop compartment and your computer is over 10” wideA few things that would really give me a chub if they added them to this backpack would be:-the inner laptop compartment is awesome! It would be a lot better if it was a little more rigid though. I feel this would make it easier to slide in and out. It would also likely protect the computer more. But the laptop compartment is in the middle of the bag, so you do have more than enough material on either side to keep it safe.-on the topic of rigidity - it would be awesome if there was a small, rigid pocket to safely store sunglasses in.Anyhow, for the price, I totally recommend this bag. It keeps your electronics, books, magazines safe and very close-at-hand when you’re in an airport or on a plane. As well, I may even just start using this as my go-to laptop bag as it’s better ergonomically than a traditional (messenger bag/briefcase style) laptop bag.

Backpack ripped after one week
Very disappointed that the backpack ripped after 1 week of school use. Expected better quality considering the price, not happy.
