My favorite mochi and at a reasonable price! I like that Amazon allows me to subscribe and have this mochi auto-delivered. Product and price has been consistent over multiple purchases. Royal Family’s Brown Sugar Mochi is mildly sweet, with a soft, chewy outer layer and a center that is a nice mix of jelly and paste. The mochi are also individually wrapped instead of in a tray like some other brands. This has been great for maintaining freshness, but also makes them a convenient treat for a lunch bag, pocket, or purse to be taken on the go.

If you like mochi, and you like bubble milk tea, you will likely like these wee sweets. They’re a little small, but very moreish. (If you DON’T already like mochi, then be aware that the texture is something you may need to adjust to - they’re squishy in a way that isn’t quite like anything Western I can think of - chewier than marshmallows, but more yielding than gummies.)
