The process of making any ghee is the same. The cream butter is heated to remove the milk sugar or lactose down to less than 1% .

It says further down on the page that the goats are raised and pastured in the State of Washington.

One review mentioned a 'goat-y' flavor to this ghee - in what way? Like goat cheese? or like the smell on the farm?

What?!? Lol! It’s absolutely delicious.

Is this ghee vedic and ayurvedic? (Is it made from curd or cream?)

I do not remember, but my guess these are questions to ask the manufacturer/distributer
