Well-constructed IEC power cable
I wanted a long IEC power cable to allow a clean install between an active speaker and a socket on the other side of an old fireplace. This cable, at 5m, fills that need. In terms of its construction, it has a reasonably chunky profile cable and a similarly chunky plug. The IEC connector seems standard, and although I didn't measure its length I am quite sure it is the full five metres. What more can I say? Well, it's a longer-than-normal length so I expected it to cost more than the freebies you get with appliances, but the price is still fair. In hindsight I wish I'd gone for a slightly longer one, as even at 5m it was a little tight but I made it work. I can't comment on long-term reliability, but let's be serious, it's a power cable that will basically remain in place probably for years and I am sure it will have no problems.

Shorter than expected
This is a well made cable but shorter than I expected. The actual length of the cable, including the sturdy strain relief mouldings, is only 43 cm long.

Good solid cable. Check the fuse before use.
Image shows a plug with a 5 amp inscription. Feature specs shows 5 amp again. Product arrives with 10 amp on the plug inscription and a 10 amp fuse in the plug. Easy enough to check but does not reflect what you are selling. Otherwise good. thanks.
