Q: Is this really zero net carbs impact on a keto diet?

"Net Carbs" is a gimmick. A Carb is a Carb is a Carb. That's it, and that's all. When reducing Carbs in your diet, consider Total Carbs. I didn't figure that out until I bought this stuff. It DOES have fewer carbs. But if you're a Diabetic, as I am, any and all Carbs count, and will raise your Blood Glucose.

Q: Does this cause digestive issues like sugar alcohols or chicory root fiber?

I can only answer for myself personally. I've had absolutely no digestive problems with the granular, powdered, or brown Swerve. I'm diabetic and have breast cancer. So, I've found this to be a game changer for me. I pretty much cut out all sugar and sugary products and follow a low carb diet. However, I do enjoy an occasional cup of tea or coffee with a homemade muffin or homemade almond bread toasted with butter and a little jam. So Swerve has been a great alternative because it's made with Erithritol that is allowed on both my diabetic and cancer diets. I suggest you purchase a single package of either the brown or granular to try and see if it affects you negatively. Hope it works for you. All the best!

I'm not sure, but I would think so. The sweetness is about the equivalent of regular brown sugar. Or you could try less and see if it was sweet enough without packing it down.
