Nice book with loads of information about soap making, including many safety tips. I’m looking forward to using these recipes!

This is the second book I've purchased from Anne Marie Faiola, and this book is a must have if you are planning on learning how to work with milk in your soap. The author teaches so thoroughly giving you the confidence to try it; and I did! I was successful in my first try to making a Goat's Milk bar of soap. She offers Beginner, Intermediate and Advance recipes. Her instructions are clear and concise, and comes with lots of photos to guide you through the process. I love this book!!

This is yet another amazing work of art by Anne, she really dives deep into tiny detail on ALL milk soaps. She gives specific direction and advice from an expert. She provides you with many pictures and as always AMAZING recipes from beginner to advanced soapers alike. I really enjoyed this book and I finished reading the whole thing in just a couple of days (can you tell I am a little obsessed with making soap). But truly if you want a very detailed book that all soapers can enjoy and appreciate this is a really good choice and you wont be disappointed.

This book was really great in terms of layout (love the spiral bind which helps keeps the book open when soaping!) and the pictures and information. There’s a lot of really great info and some super cool recipes, but it’s definitely not for a beginner soaper. Most recipes call out a multitude of not common oils, special molds, fragrances and additives. overall a good book though

if you will have 1 book about milk soap this is it! she explain everything you need to know about milk soaps and not only goat but all sort of milks: animal or vegetal milks. the book is full of recipes and i even use the shampoo one for my family and me...without forgetting amazing photos... easy to read, and to apply at home!

My mom has been making soaps for a short while, feeling inspired to make her own. So after I got her one book, she asked for this one because the recipes would ask for "milk" which is interesting to use for soaps. She's still learning this hobby and it puts a smile on my face to watch her crafting. I would recommend this for anyone who's interested in making soaps using all kinds of milk

An abundance of quality color photos for every step by step instruction of all the recipes. Very easy to read glossary and understanding of how everything is used in soap making. I learned so much information in this book, not found anywhere else. Very happy with this wonderful book! Thank you!!

I’m a beginner soap maker. I read through the book and I love it. It “explains” a lot about soaping.It gives measurements and it tells you how to get the measurements. As you go through the book you will see the math for each oil. The book includes about 20 different oils that you can use when soaping and a description of each. It also includes recipes for soap making. This book is worth the purchase.

I LOVE this book and have read it completely. All the recipes have milk of some kind whether it's goat's, cow's, nut milks and even camel's milk. The recipes make sense and are easy to follow. There's a list of soap-making suppliers at the back of the book as well as FAQ's. At the front, it covers the different kinds of milk, oils and molds. Safety working with Lye and the basics of cold process soap-making are fully covered. The author is the owner of the soap supply company Brambleberry.com and many of the recipes are on their website, but, this book is coil-bound and made to be with you while you're making soap so you don't have to worry about scrolling through an electronic device while wearing gloves. The price is very fair and well worth it for a coil-bound hardcover book. Tons of photos demonstrate the process step-by-step and the easy-to-read text will make you feel confident when making your soap. I highly recommend this book.

Ich hätte dieses Buch gerne als Anfänger gehabt, da die Projekte von Seite zu Seite anspruchsvoller werden und man einfach das Buch durcharbeiten kann und am Ende praktisch eine kleine Ausbildung absolviert hat. Beide Seifenbücher die ich von der Bramble Berry Gründerin habe sind so aufgebaut. Es werden einige etwas exotischere Öle verwendet, oftmals andere, als ich üblicherweise in deutschen Rezepturen finde. Auch mal interessant. Besonders schön sind die Vergleichsbilder mit unterschiedlichen Milchseifenfarben. Jedes Rezept hat eine Schritt für Schritt Bebilderung, alles kann spielend einfach nachvollzogen werden. Ich finde es ist ein Buch ohne Firlefanz, es ist zugleich ausfühlich ohne ermüdend zu sein- genau richtig für mich.
