Easy, Comfortable, Great Quality
I got 2 of these to take camping for my kids to sleep on with the intent on being able to use them myself for adult hiking/camling trips. They are awesome. Super easy to inflate - other reviews note that it takes 9 to 12 breaths to inflate. They were right! I was skeptical at first but started blowing and they really do fill up in that range. One cool feature is the flap on the inside of the inflation valve. When you blow it up, your breath pushes the flap out and then immediately closes so no air escapes. Brilliant. To deflate you just pull it out a bit and it deflates quickly. Oh and they weigh like a pound. I plan on using them for myself and husband when we go hiking/camping without kids because they're so light. In the bags they are the size of a small stuff and go coat. Super small. The pads themselves are quite long. My husband is 6'3" and his whole body fits on it. I did quite a bit of research on good quality mats before purchasing. I am kind of a gear head with camping/hiking gear. These really are superior quality and literally half the cost of the ones from other brand name retailers. We've used them for 4, four day camping trips and they've held up to all the things kids do to them. Jumping, dragging, putting them in a cart, folded in half, sitting on top of them...all the things! No rips yet! And as far as comfort, they get the job done. You really don't feel the ground beneath you, it's just enough air and with the diamond pattern it just works. If you're on the fence, I can say you won't be disappointed (unless you're looking for a 12" air mattress). This is a camping pad - not a bed. Keep that in mind. Also, I recieved a really nice note from the seller in the mail. Really shows you that they care about their product. I would definitely purchase these again. I plan on getting some as gifts for my famy memebers. Happy sleeping!

Won’t leave home without them!
I bought 2 of these for a camping trip with my daughters school I was chaperoning. Was not disappointed. I have a bad back and I was planning on sleeping in my car. I was worried about what kind of shape I’d be in in the morning. These were a life saver! I actually slept quite comfortably in the back of my car and woke up with my back in pretty good shape. Not much worse than normal which was great. I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to move in the morning. My daughter actually used it on the ground of a tent and said she slept very well. Her camp mates who were in the same tent said that the ground was really uncomfortable and said they were jealous of my daughters sleeping pad. I should also mention that I am defiantly a plus size person and I had no problems with this mattress. Of course I always could use a bit more width, but this mattress worked just fine. This is super easy to inflate. Literally about 12-15 breaths. I have asthma and this was a piece of cake. My daughter, who also has asthma has no troubles either. Deflating is just as easy. Cory (the owner) sent an email after purchase with tips on deflating the mattress. Just pull the little rubber flap forward through the hole and the mattress begins to deflate instantly. I just rolled it from the bottom into a tube shape, folded into thirds and it fit right back into the carry case it comes with. Very compact and super light. I just stored inside the sleeping bags when we went. I was going to store with my camping gear. But realized they could be so useful in other situations. Like the beach, sitting at picnic tables or bleachers when I want a little more comfort. Even sitting in the back of my car. Also I have had some beds when traveling that have been horrible. These mattresses would have solved those problems. Wish I had them then. As I said before, super light and compact, so I wouldn’t mind traveling with them and adding them to my suitcase. Cory, the owner is very proactive in communication and making sure that is you have any concerns or questions, that he is readily available. I had none as he was so proactive that any questions I might have had were answered almost before I thought of them. I highly recommend this product. I don’t usually write reviews (mostly due to time), however, this product exceeded my expectations so much, that I wanted to let others know that this is money well spent. Hope this helps others when making a decision about purchasing an inflatable mattress.

Light, easy to inflate and comfortable
Great choice if you want a very light and easy to inflate mat. I had a Klymit Static mat for many years until it broke. Seeing there are many choices of cheaper mats which weight around the same as the Klymit and are very compact as well, I gave it a try. I just spent my first camping night using this mat and these are my comments: - Inflating and deflating the mat is surprisingly easy and fast. The valve is much simpler than the Klymits but this simplicity makes it work very well. - The comfort is the same as the Klymits. If you are used to camping and sleeping on hard surfaces and without much cushioning, this mat is for you. I like to go on camping trips in which I have to carry everything for many hours, so weight beats comfort. However, if your priority is comfort, buy a thicker mat. - The mat did not loose any air throughout the night, so thumbs up for this! - I'm 5'10" and the sizing is perfect. I never during the night had any part of my body touching the floor. I used two of these mats inside a 2-person REI tent and still had a bit of room to fit my 7 year old son on between both mats. - The only negative point, and the reason I'm giving it 4 and not 5 stars, is that the plastic material seems cheaper than Klymits and this makes it very noisy when you move around at night. If you have a light sleep, this continuous plastic noise will ruin your night. Overall, a very nice mat, light, comfortable and for a very good price.

Great for hotel beds when they are too hard.
I don't backpack or sleep on the ground in a tent any more. Haven't for decades. I like sleeping only on a soft mattress. This is sometimes a problem when traveling. In a hotel, AirBnB, cruise ship, relative's guest room, etc., I never know what I am going to get. If I wind up on a hard mattress, I tuck this under the fitted sheet, get a good night's sleep and wake up pain-free. It packs up so small, it is easy to include in my luggage, even when travelling light. It is also amazingly affordable. It seems durable for being so lightweight, but I would not abuse it. It is not a trampoline or snow sled. Children can't resist jumping on air mattresses, so keep this out of sight. The only possible drawback is that it makes a slight crinkling sound when climbing into and out of bed, but this has not ben a problem and even my wife has never remarked on it despite mid-night bathroom breaks. Blowing it up by mouth is not a big deal if you have a little patience for the minute or two it takes. For me this would not be quite thick enough for side-sleeping on a hard surface like a wood floor (I am a 6'2" man, 175 lbs). Close, but some padding underneath would be needed for me. It could work for back sleeping or likely for smaller people. It would be fine alone for side-sleeping on any cushioned surface like a firm mattress, futon, couch, RV bunk, etc. On a recent 2-week trip, this was a real sanity-saver. That would be too long to be missing sleep. One of my best travel purchases ever. If you are someone who hates a really firm mattress, and you travel at all, I recommend considering this for your next trip. Plus, if you ever got stuck overnighting in an airport, this could be quite a luxury.

Small lightweight easy to inflate and deflate extremely comfortable
This is an extremely small and lightweight sleeping pad. I just went on my first overnight hiking trip with this pad and it was amazingly comfortable despite the small size and weight. it only took about 10 or 15 breaths to fill. it did not deflate at all during the night easily keeping me off the ground and comfortable. even sitting on the end of the pad it kept me off the ground. which I was surprised with because of how thin it is. after pulling out the rubber tab in the mouthpiece I was easily able to rolled it up and it deflated itself. One of the people I went with brought a sleeping pad that was inflatable. but it was half the size of my torso deflated and I’m a pretty big guy. So I recommended one of these to her. because of the amazing difference in size and weight between the products and the difference in how easy it is to deflate. she spent like 10 minutes trying to squeeze all the air out of her sleeping pad to get it back in her bag. where it took me all of 20 seconds to roll it back up and put it in my bag. I am extremely impressed with this product and I’m going to recommend it to all of my friends who hike. because it’s smaller and more comfortable than any of the pads that they brought and that an extremely reasonable price. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to bring a sleeping pad on any Trip you would bring one on especially if you have to carry it. it’s significantly better than any other one I found. A few of my friends brought yoga mats as their ground pad this product is smaller lighter and way more comfortable than any yoga mat that I have ever seen or heard of. Anyone who hikes knows it’s a lot about the weight and the space you have. but this product allows you to carry with less weight and space without sacrificing comfort. which is important if you don’t get a good nights sleep in the woods you won’t be feeling very good the next day. Which will affect how enjoyable the experience is. there’s a lot of opportunity to have fun in the woods. but after a long day of hiking bush crafting hunting fishing or whatever you’re doing. A good nights sleep is essential. Which is why I would recommend this product to anyone asking. When paired with a good sleeping bag it makes for an extremely comfortable nights sleep. It even comes with a little patch kit in the pack in case you get a hole from a stick or a rock that you didn’t see on the ground. This is definitely a five-star all-around product. at least to me with the limited experience I’ve had with it. if you actually read all this thank you for valuing my opinion. Hopefully it will help you make an informed decision about this sleeping pad to have fun out in the woods and get a good nights sleep.

Great product, and great customer service
Product = 5 stars (literally takes only 9-10 adult breaths to inflate, stays inflated) Customer Service = 5 stars (fast, polite, efficient) I bought 2 of these a month apart. The first one I used a few times as a test, then gave to my sister in an emergency kit I put together for her. The second I bought for myself, and stashed in my pack immediately on arrival. Well, I should have tested the second one, because a few months later when I used it for the first time it had a seal issue. But this is NOT a bad review. This is a GREAT review! Contacting customer service, they quickly arranged for a replacement which arrived in 2.5 days. And it is just as perfect as the first one. I have recommended this pad to several friends, and each of them that bought one have been just as happy with as I am with mine. The pad is comfortable enough for overnight sleeping, very lightweight for easy carrying, and much smaller than you would expect for easy storage/packing space. I will continue recommending this pad to anyone who asks me about it when I am camping.

Poor design, cheap material, lightweight, inexpensive price range
I bought 2 of these at once for an upcoming planned camping trip. I am soo glad I stuck to my instincts (despite all the good reviews) and tested them out at home first to try out their durability and comfort level. Both had issues less than 2 hours of being used on my bedroom carpet while watching a movie. The patented Seal Mechanism didn't last 1 hr on the first pad as it kept deflating. I could hear the air slowly escaping when I held it to my ear. The rubber flap design is flawed on this product. Simply put, the rubber flap needs to evenly seal all the way around the mouth of the opening creating a nested airtight seal. It's basically a thin flat rubber disc that holds in the air with a plastic cap on top of it. Instead, the rubber flap is mishappened like a banana! The plastic cap is merely a decoy and does nothing, other than to help keep out the dust/dirt. Effectively, this major flaw is a nuisance and is self-handicapping itself into full retardation beyond the limits of help. The manufactures claim of, "While there’s no weight limit, add an additional breath or two for extra support if you’re 350lbs or more." is ridiculously false. It's such an overstatement it reminds me of a classic action-packed Hollywood Rated B movie from the '90s where everything was grossly over-exaggerated to the point it wasn't enjoyable anymore. This oversized maxi pad looking waste of an opportunity is one of the worst sleeping pads I have ever wasted my efforts on. I weigh 155 lbs, maybe 160 lbs after some beer and pizza! This hunk of plastic fabric crap failed at everything it was supposed to do right in great strides of failures' in every direction. What a shame, especially after reading soo many "good" reviews. The manufactures claim of, "A comfortable night’s sleep is only 10-to-15 breaths away with Sleepingo’s camping mattress pad!" is really a stretch in my opinion. I consider myself to be in the above-average shape spectrum. I work out 3 times a week for 45 minutes, I do cardio, swimming, biking, hiking and running. Running up 3 flights of stairs at a hotel is not a challenge to me. Trying to fill up this defective plastic bag is a challenge because it leaks air even when you are attempting to blow it up. There is no functioning "one-way valve" to retain the air! I can only image how dissatisfied someone would feel if coming back to their deflated pad after an 8-mile hike. The pad is relatively lightweight and decent at that for being in this very low price point. The R-value is minimal coming in at only 2.1, which again is expected in this price range. Highest R-Value achievable is "10". A sleeping pad’s R-Value measures its ability to insulate you from the cold ground and keep you warm. The higher the R-value, the more effective it is. I don't recommend this pad in weather temperatures below 70 degrees if warm comfort is your preference. What you pay for, in this case anyway, is what you get. And that is a $40 green plastic turd! I do not recommend this product unless you enjoy wasting your hard-earned money. Pros: - Lightweight, inexpensive price range, it floats in the water, if rolled up tightly it doubles as a paperweight. If you love the smell of plastic - guess what, it reaks of plastic, you can breathe it in all night long! If you like the color green - guess what, it's green. hmmm, hard to think of more pros... Cons: Poor design, cheap material, reaks like plastic, uncomfortable for side sleepers, feels like it won't last very long. Furthermore, if for some reason of insanity you receive pleasure from torturing yourself by keeping this pad, ... I highly recommend you send it back before the return window closes. Spend the extra money and buy a high-quality sleeping pad. Your health is worth a good night's sleep. I know I don't function well the next day when I don't get my quality rest. The best sleeping pad I have purchased in the below $200 range is the "Cosmo 3D" by NEMO.

Comfortable hips, and Tough enough for a Boy Scout
I bought 2 of these sleeping pads. One for me (adult female age 54 220 lbs with arthritis in hips) and one for a Boy Scout. The one for me is because I sleep on my side and cannot have pressure on my hips. This pad did the trick wonderfully. Slept great and without pain. The pad for my Boy Scout needed to be tough enough to survive a tall teenage boy learning to take care of his equipment. He has used this pad for only 10 days so far, and it has done a great job for him. Neither of us put the pad inside our bags, and the pad stayed under us anyway. Well worth the money spent. Had no problems at all. After the first use in the morning it was still inflated, but a little soft, we assumed from first time use stretching, and we added literally only 1/2 a breath. This lasted until the end of our 10 day trip. We did not deflate each night but left them inflated. The air held the whole time, which I was amazed about. I thought that we would have to add at least a breath from time to time, but we did not need to. I am thrilled to get my hips off the ground, with something that will to pack up small in my pack to give me more room, and very light weight. I am trying to lighten my pack weight and spend as little $$ as I can, and yet still be able to get equipment that is good enough to accommodate my aging body out in the sticks. My Scout wanted an air pad that was comfortable and tough and small and light weight because he likes to have nothing in his pack, so he has lots of room for other things and he does not want anything attached to the outside of his pack. This air pad was perfect for him. We live at 6,000 feet and camp out usually above that. The nights are cool, or cold, all year round, and the ground is above freezing but not really warm. This pad has worked great! and has allowed us to reduce down to one 15 degree sleeping bag without an extra layer to insulate against ground effect. We have not yet tried to use this pad directly on the snow pack, just on non-snow covered ground. Cons: This pad is pretty quiet, but not the most silent. We have been on plenty of louder/noisier pads, and a few quieter pads that were a whole lot more expensive. I would put this one somewhere in the middle-ish pile. We tried this pad out as a kids sleepover bed. The kid stayed on top of the pad, but on the carpet this pad walked/schooched itself about 14 inches sideways during the night where as the other air pads we had did not. Was this the kid on top moving differently or the air pad? We do not know. The kid did not care and used it for the next 2 nights anyway. When we have more than 1 Scout with the same pad (yes we have more than one Scout with the same pad), it is hard to know who's pad is who's come pack up time. This could be partly solved with some choices in colour availability.

A great product!
For such a well priced, compact and light weight sleeping pad, i think this is a great product. I havent taken it camping yet but it was easy to inflate and deflate, easy to roll up and put back in its bag. It was comfortable to lie on on my wood floors. I dont know how great it would be on rocky terrain but, hey, two of these would probably weight less and take up less space in a backpack than a traditional sleeping mat. I havent tried that though. (and no, i dont work for the company!!!) That the mat is made of ripstop nylon means it should be pretty durable. Overall, i think this product is worth the reasonable price.
