It is a sturdy product and extremely useful if you are dealing with charcoal, especially lump charcoal.

I was hoping for better quality for the cost of it. Feels cheap had trouble getting it to open wide but I think with more use. I just used it and love how great it works on the grill. It's the best tongs I have used over a hot grill so I gave it another star. If it was built a little better 5 star easy

A little pricey but work great. If you use a charcoal grill you need these tongs. Keeps your hand from burning from being over the hot coals.

The product quality is superb, and it is a very handy tool for anyone grilling with charcoal. I looked at some less expensive options, but I'm glad I paid a little more for a quality tongs that are heavy duty, easy to use, have larger ends for gripping hot coals, and have the ability to lock in a closed position, making it handy for storage. I wish it was a bit longer, I wear a grilling glove when using it. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

I originally bought these tongs to handle charcoal, but I think I'll end up using them just as much for food. I love the design, the length, grip, and overall concept are excellent. These are great for adding or moving hot charcoal briquets inside the grill or smoker. The insulated handle makes it comfortable to use and the right angled gripping end allows precise placement of coals without getting your hands into the fire. They appear to be quality construction and stout enough to provide good control. When not in use they look attractive hung with the other tools. I consider mine to have been well worth the cost. I use them frequently in a vertical drum smoker and find them to be long enough to do what is needed without being so large as to be ungainly.
