Very Impressed!
I am very impressed with the quality on these vanilla beans. They are wide, oily and tender which made them easy to split. These beans are a great value. All vanilla beans have a slightly funky ammonia smell that some people can distinguish more easily than others. This does not affect the finished vanilla extract.

Very strong and fresh
OMG you can smell the vanilla without even opening the package. Very fresh. I put it in Vodka to make my own extract. Let it sit, stirring every now and then, usually sits for a year to 18 months.
