⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality Prague Powder #1
This is an excellent curing salt. I used Boise Salt Prague Powder #1 to make homemade kielbasa, and the results were outstanding. The meat developed a beautiful color, cured evenly, and had the classic flavor and texture I was looking for. The powder is fine, easy to measure accurately, and the resealable packaging keeps it fresh. Just remember to follow the recommended measurements carefully since a little goes a long way. If you’re making sausage, bacon, ham, or jerky, I highly recommend this product. I’ll definitely be buying it again!

Brined some turkey breast
Works. Use to brine a turkey breast. Added herbs and brown sugar. Little hickory smoke. Only in big 1 gallon glass jar for 24 hours. Rinse well and air fried with little oil for browning. Tasty

Works great.
Jerky came out great, surprised how little of this salt is needed to do a cure.

Pink Curing Salt That Forgot to Be Pink
Ordered pink curing salt. Received… beige curing salt? Maybe even off‑white if I squint. Not exactly the rosy hue I was expecting, but hey — it’s curing salt, not a fashion accessory. It did its job perfectly, and the amount was exactly what the listing said. I can’t fault them for me not reading the size and expecting a bucket when it clearly said “small pouch.” That one’s on me. The color, though? That’s the mystery. Did something happen in transit? Did the pink fade? Was it ever pink? Would I even know the difference if it wasn’t? Absolutely not. Still: it’s salt, it cures things, and it didn’t ruin anything. 4 stars for functionality, minus one for the beige identity crisis.
