High Quality but Cats Aren't Crazy About It
You may have seen some of my other recent reviews of cat foods. Presently, I have been on a quest to find a high quality canned food for my girls. The criteria is simple: (a) they must like it (and therefore eat it) and (b) they must be able to keep it down. This one appears to be very high quality, so I was hopeful. Over the last 2 weeks, we've tried every flavor twice but the girls do not ever finish their food. There has been no vomiting though, so that's a huge win. I can't be sure why they don't like it, other than organ meats are used and they are not accustomed to them. Neither are they accustomed to beef or lamb, so that may also have been an issue. Your mileage may vary, especially if your cat isn't picky like mine are.

A Wet Cat Food That I Can Trust
I'm a big fan of Ziwi Peak for my Cats. Not only does it have good, clean, ingredients, my cats also go bananas when I open the can of food. I am very picky about ensuring that my cats get high quality food and I feel comfortable giving this to my cats. I've seen some reviews that there may be some larger bone pieces in the food, but I have personally never experienced a can with that issue. Pros: My cats love this stuff, high protein, high quality ingredients. My cats prefer this food over many over commercial pet foods. Cons: If we get very technical with the individual ingredient analysis, I wish that the chickpeas (as a source of carbs) was eliminated or lower in the ingredients list. Furthermore, after digging into the typical analysis, I do think that it's a bit high in the phosphorus and calcium content. My kitties get annual blood tests and other examinations and it has personally not have been an issue for us, but something to be aware of for others.

A nice variety, but not a hit for the cat.
My cat (admittedly a picky Abyssinian) pretty much turned her nose up at this. A weird texture, between pate and minced, and rather dry. Dear dog (standard poodle) saw to it that kitty’s food didn’t go to waste, so not the worst outcome.
