Best for Caridina Shrimp
Living in Bearsden, Glasgow, UK the tap water is acidic (pH 6.4) and VERY soft, with negligible KH & GH. Thus, depending upon a tank's stocking, water has to be remineralised. Initially I used Seachem Equilibrium, but it later transpired that this is geared towards planted aquariums, and not those tanks which also house shrimp.It's at this point that I discovered Saltyshrimp. Since I'm stocking Caridina shrimp the GH+ version is the perfect remineraliser and my shrimp have benefited enormously since I made the switch.

My shrimp do so well when this is used with RO water, peace of mind that the water is consistent. I tried using dechlorinated tap water when we moved to a place with soft water, but the shrimp stopped breeding, even though the water should have been ok for them .

Se avete caridine non ti posso mancare queste sali per alzare il GH, io uso acqua di osmosi e solo aggiungendo un po di sale per far salire il TDS da 0 a 150-180 devo usare in 30 litri 3 misurino che viene dentro ho presso 850g e mi basterà quasi 2 anni, 🔺️non fare direttamente nel acquario preparare prima l'acqua a cambiare 🔺️
