This replaced an older 2ghz unit as I was upgraded to 5ghz by Spectrum. After installing the hardware, on booting up in windows 10 the adapter was installed in windows and connected to my 5ghz before windows was even finished loading...within about 5 seconds after I typed in my password. Tried it on a 1gb download right away and was getting almost triple the mbps as the old unit. Highly recommend for wifi. Bluetooth a great disappointment. Range is literally only about a few feet for my bluetooth keyboard, while another bluetooth dongle I had works from 15 feet.

I can't believe the speed of this unit and it's out-of-the-box compatibility with Linux. Seller should consider adding more info on the exact Bluetooth capabilities and adding Aptx support for crystal clear audio. The range and quality of the sound is incredible though!

Qualcomm Wifi chip if anyone is curious of what is in it. Very cheap, Windows 10 setup was plug and play. No Driver installation needed, Windows 7 and Linux users get a Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 chipset.Sadly it is only 801.11A/B/G/N and not AC but it does support 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands as well as WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption.Also, make sure you plug the USB header wire in or else bluetooth will not work.. Really odd though since its only for power, you would think the PCIe slot could supply enough for the wifi and bluetooth together.Low profile bracket and screws also included, Antenna works fine as well. Range is decent. All and all a pretty solid card. RECOMMEND!!

This works with no issues. I have this card in a computer that with all usb adapters we tried it constantly drops signal due to unavoidable interference. This card does not have that issue of dropping out even with signal fluxuation and in the furthest reach of our large home upstairs doors shut amd lots of nieghbors wifi and a metal loft bed. This did the trick no drops for video confrencing.Install is easy just dont forget to plug the wire in were it needs to go. Windows recognized it without installing anything 2.4 and 5ghz signals work as well as bluetooth.

i had no issues at all, plugged it in, connected to my wifi, connected bluetooth, got expected download and upload speeds out of it, i only have 120 mbps internet connection so this thing can do way more than my internet can. honestly a fantastic bang for buck wireless card. bluetooth is of course a very nice feature to have as well.

Good value, and was easy to install. I've had some minor bluetooth connection issues, usually with controllers, but overall it's a good product that works as advertised.

For the price, this is a very good unit. Connects fast and pretty speedy. I installed this in a Win 7 (64) machine. The computer sees it and tries to load a driver but fails. I had to go to the Atheros web site and download the appropriate driver. Then manually add the driver and it loads OK. An extra step that apparently is not needed if you are using Windows 10. Bluetooth is a nice extra at this price but don't forget to plug the supplied cable into a USB port on your motherboard.

When used with windows 10 all drivers are auto installed and its completely painless.When used with windows 7 there are no drivers or manufacturer website to speak of. I was able to find the bluetooth support using the search criteria "atheros ar9462" but only from a 3rd party site.Windows 10 is painless, windows 7 would do better getting a card with a driver CD included.
