Definitely recommend!
taking three pills a day felt like a lot at first, it’s absolutely worth it for how complete the formula is. TheraNatal is designed based on current research and what OBs actually recommend, which gives me a lot of confidence in what I’m putting into my body. One thing I really appreciate is that it includes active folate (Quatrefolic) instead of synthetic folic acid, which is better absorbed especially for women with MTHFR gene variants. It also has the full recommended daily dose of DHA and EPA omega-3s, which are super important for baby’s brain and eye development. I’ll be honest, you might get a little bit of that fishy burp, but it’s not too bad and kind of expected with fish oil supplements. I’ve recommended this to several of my pregnant friends and they all really like it too. It just feels good knowing you're getting everything you need in one go without having to buy a bunch of separate vitamins.

Quality prenatals and easy on stomach
I was having trouble with prenatals through my entire pregnancy. Every single brand made me nauseous to the point I wouldn’t take them at all. These have been a game changer and I feel confident about the ingredients including iron, magnesium and choline. They come in packs and you can divide them by days of the week. The only con is that they are in plastic and I’d prefer an amber jar. That would give a 4.5 for me!

Good prenatal vitamins
I think this is a great prenatal vitamin pack. After taking them for 3 months, I got a full blood work and all the components of these vitamins had good results. I try to take them after eating a meal, and so far they have not caused or increased any nausea symptoms. I saw some comments mentioning that one of the pills might change their color or start showing some black dots, but I did not encounter that issue, and after reassuring comments and the further details given by the brand, I think I would not have mind either. I am up to my last batch and as you can see in the picture, there's nothing odd about them. I have asked my OBGYN and the nurses I have seen during my pregnancy about these vitamins (I literally cut the component table on the box and brought it with me to my check-ups) and they all have given the all-clear. Which is reassuring because after hearing about prenatals that don't work, or that have class actions against, I just wanted to make sure I am making the right call.

"The Best" Prenatals out there
This was highly recommended when I did a search for "the best" prenatal vitamins to take, and have just about finished up with the third month of taking them and ready to order again. In comparison with other vitamins, the amount is way lower, they aren't too big and contain all of the essentials needed for my pregnancy so I won't have to go searching for other vitamins to take in addition to these. Can't complain there! There's no taste, however I get the fishy burps about 15 min after taking them. I guess it can't be helped. I do experience very slight nausea 30 min to an hour after taking them too but it's tolerable. I read people have complained about mold on their pills... I keep mine in a plastic baggy sealed up WITH the dry packet that it comes with so I haven't experienced that. All in all, they're pills. Not thrilled to take them but no one usually is. Therefore, I'll give a thumbs up!

Tried and tested; works extremely well!
I tried many prenatal vitamins and had no success with pregnancy. Switched to this and although it’s a bit pricy, it worked! Super easy to take. 7 days labels make it easy to not forget

Formula Changed, now with fishy burps
I had purchased this product back in 2021 with my first pregnancy, because I read an article about the independent lab testing how safe their Omega-3 source and formula was and I also saw great reviews. It was very good. It seems now the packaging and formula changed since then. I ordered this again for my Second pregnancy. The bubble packets are soo difficult to get the pills out of, especially the Omega 3, it sticks and can rupture. The color of the tablets is different now than before as well. The most negative change is the Omega-3 now causes fishy burps, which the previous purchase years ago did not do this. Being as that was one of the reasons I chose this brand in the first place, because past experience and positive reviews the original formulation didn't cause fishy burps, I am disappointed that it has changed to such that it does cause fishy burps. If the formula has changed, that means the original lab reviews are antiquated and no longer reliable.

High quality pills, low quality packaging
Lots of great nutrients in these three pills! However the speckles tablet tastes awful and smells so bad that early on in pregnancy, just opening the package made me gag. And speaking of packaging, if I could score it separately it would get 1 star. It’s a fight to open the blister packs! I have used variations of this brand for almost five years and the blister packs are always frustratingly difficult to open! Getting the individual versions in the jar is better, but for the Complete you’d have to buy three different things. I have also read several reviews claiming this brand is why women believe they’re pregnant and maybe so but don’t put too much faith in it. This is the brand my OBGYN recommended and I’ve taken variations (depending on if we were pregnant or not) daily for almost five years and had recurrent pregnancy loss and extended infertility. I don’t believe this has anything to do with these prenatals, but just trying to give a measured response to those who say these pills are why they have their baby.

Huge tablets that are difficult to swallow
These tablets are MASSIVE. I don’t have a sensitive gag reflex, but every time I take these, even between bites while eating to try to trick my reflex into not gagging, I still gag and choke on them. They are the epitome of the proverbial “horse pill.” If they were half the size they are, they would be much easier to swallow. Also the packaging is incredibly difficult and frustrating to open; when trying to peel off the paper and foil cover, it gets stuck firmly at the second pill and WILL NOT peel the rest of the way off, so I have to use a knife to puncture the foil and accidentally punctured the fish oil supplement once while trying to do this. These supplements contributed to my nausea in general. For anyone struggling with morning sickness, these will make it worse. If the company could improve these 2 things (size of the tablets and packaging difficulties) it’s a quality prenatal. Just extremely difficult to open and swallow so I stopped using it and switched to another brand.
