Poor quality boots
Skated on these twice. 3rd time I went to lace them up the eyelet ripped through the boot. You can see the other eyelets have begun to move as well. One of the plastic teeth on the strap also got damaged while tightening. The skates are not very comfortable along the top edge of the boot but manageable for the price if there were not other issues. There was also marker on the boots from where it was trimmed after stitching. The holders and wheels seem to be good quality.

Great for speed
Just in case any regulars are thinking about getting these for everyday skating understand this are essentially what spikes are for track and field. They are for speed and nothing else. They are not comfortable, they aren’t for casual wear and if you don’t know what you are doing you will hurt yourself. Now that the hard part is out o the way, these are great speed skates for training and building strength. I have used them roughly 20 times and I love them, at the price this isn’t a bad option although for another $100 or so you can get much better quality. Excellent build quality, horribly uncomfortable
The materials these skates are made of are top of the line. The wheels are smooth and free rolling on the bearings and are set in strong aluminum wheel cages. The shoe is light weight real carbon fiber which is cool, but very unforgivably stiff. They hurt my ankles and don't tighten down in the right spots, so they are too tight in some places and too loose in others making for an insecure ride. They don't feel like they are part of your foot like they are supposed to. They are so uncomfortable I could only make it round the block once before having to take them off and put on thick socks to try to pad them more. Still pretty uncomfortable and poor fit in important places. Also they are easy to tighten, but difficult to loosen on the ratchet part. I am pretty disappointed in what I expected to be excellent skates.
