Por fin tendré espacio suficiente para descargar todos los juegos que me plazca sin tener que sacrificar algunos. La velocidad secuencial es un poco debajo de lo advertido, pero esto es debido a la CPU que tengo instalado (265K). Tengo planeado actualizarlo por un Intel 290K en 2026. De todas formas, los Random IOPS muestran resultados bastantes buenos.

For anything involving big data sets, virtual machines, or heavy I/O, the headroom is appreciated. Installation was the usual M.2 2280 routine. Drop it in the slot, secure the screw, and the system picked it up immediately. No firmware updates or fuss were needed to get it running at full speed. Heat is worth mentioning since PCIe 5.0 drives can run warm under sustained load. My motherboard's M.2 heatsink has kept temperatures reasonable, but anyone using this drive should make sure they have proper cooling in place. It is not optional at this performance tier. Samsung's reputation for reliability is part of the reason I picked this drive, and so far it has lived up to expectations. The 1TB capacity is a sensible sweet spot for a boot drive plus working storage, with larger bulk data living on spinning disks elsewhere in the system.
