So light and quick.
Love my new Asus laptop. It is so quick. Weight is so light. Ace quality. Quiet and although quite a small screen It does not feel small because lovely clear screen. Not found a negative yet.

It's good ... But it's not.
Performance - well spec'd hardware with respectable performance for the price bracket. Nothing else at sub 400 quid really touches it. Quality - it feels relatively cheap, very plastic fantastic and has a horrible gloss finish but I'm baby wipe crazy anyway so minimal issue for me Screen - the worst part about this laptop, it's one of the worst TN panels I've ever seen on a laptop, 60hz and a smear fest. Poor viewing angles beyond what's reasonably expected. Coming from any cheap TV to this is still a step backwards. Battery - with power savings, normal browser and desktop use and 50% screen brightness , 7 hours is achievable. For power use more like 4-5 , using any GPU load will dramatically decrease this to 3-4. (Includes gaming, rendering, encoding and high res video playback (2160p high bit rate). Overall, good value for money but be aware there are absolutely some terrible concessions to get this performance at this price..

Battery life. Good quality for daily use of graphic design software.
This was my first experience buying electronic stuffs online. It is exactly as described. It has a long battery life which helps a lot while I'm working for long hours without have to bother plugging in. It has high performance with graphics design software. Overall, it is such a great choice of laptop for daily use of graphic design.

Great laptop
Great laptop. Very comfortable to use, slightly wider than others, amazing ram size and ssd space. The cpu is fairly good for a simple work laptop too, wouldn't be surprised if it could handle some gaming! Only little qualm is the small enter key and the small left shift key (particularly the latter) which takes a bit of getting used to if you use shift to capitalise letters like me.

Incorrect Listing resulted in a waste of time
don't usually write reviews but to save someone else my hassle; this item listing is incorrect and the Vivobook 15 in blue, does NOT come with a backlit keyboard as stated in the description. (also no fingerprint sensor, but that wasn't important to me) in fairness to the 2 Amazon representatives I spoke to, they were kind and efficient - but also didn't seem to understand that the product I received can't and never will be able to have a backlit keyboard, not that it is a fault of me or the product a return is being promptly organised but the 1 star is due to the disappointment and experience, and extra time I will now have until I wait for a collection, wait for a refund, research and place a new order with a different company, and wait for that delivery if being able to see your keys in the dark is not important for you, you may still like this laptop the blue is nice, and specs are okay for ยฃ400 but I don't want to be buying a laptop in 2025 and struggling typing in the evening [pictures added show the listing I believed was accurate but was not, the physical touchpad having a missing sensor and the software confirming it wasn't possible to use, and close-ups of the solid plastic keys with transferred white letters on to show that even if there was software for backlit keys, there is no chance the light would be able to shine through anything]

I thought it would be faster then it was?
When I first turned it on after taking it out of the box it shut down I then booted it back up again and it started up in repair mode that made me a little concerned considering it was straight out the box it's not done it since and it's not shown any problems so I'm not sure what that was entirely about? I'm giving it 3 stars but will change review depending after a few months use. So far I've downloaded a CD ripper software because I wanted to rip my CDs into Flac Format and save them on a SSD Drive. I've had two occasions where the app froze and it wouldn't force close. The only option I had was to shut down the laptop however the screen went off but the laptop couldn't shut off, I then had to hold the power button down to do the emergency shutdown. You can't press the power button because the laptop won't power back on because it's still trying to shut down. I was not impressed with this! It should have been able to open the task manager and just force close the app but it wouldn't do it. It also says it's ryzen 7 I've noticed that it powers on really quick but other than that anything else you run runs like any other laptop it's not super fast as I thought it would be. I'm also currently converting some videos by AI enhancing them with this being ryzen 7 I thought it was going to do it a lot faster than my old laptop but it doesn't appear to be going any quicker maybe it's something in the settings I need to look at?
