G5 Electric Burr Coffee Grinder, Aluminum Body, Single Dose, Black

I’ve been using the HiBREW G5 for a little while now, and I have to say — I’m seriously impressed. It’s compact, quiet, and feels solidly built even though it’s relatively lightweight. From the moment I unpacked it, it gave me the sense that it was made to last. The low profile makes it easy to fit on my counter, and it pairs beautifully with my HiBREW H10A espresso machine, which I already love. One of the biggest surprises was how easily it handles even the hardest light roast beans. No bogging down, no struggle — just smooth, consistent grinding. I typically use the low-speed mode for espresso, and I appreciate that both speed settings (low and high RPM) have a timed auto shutoff. That’s a really nice touch — I can press the button and walk away if I want to. The Turkish setting is actually what it claims to be — extremely fine, which is something my old grinder could never achieve. The 36-step grind dial is clear and easy to understand, with labeled ranges for Turkish, Espresso, Moka, Drip, and Pour Over. I use #8 in the 4-15 Espresso range and it’s been perfect. The bellows air pump works great, especially combined with a quick water spritz to cut static. I almost always get 10 grams in, 10 grams out — virtually zero retention. And I like the slanted tilt design, which helps feed the beans through more efficiently. This was my first time using a conical burr grinder (all my previous ones were flat burr), and honestly, the grind consistency has really surprised me. The coffee comes out evenly ground at every setting I’ve tested so far. Other features that I find super helpful: • Magnetic dosing cup that locks into place perfectly — and even sticks to my gram scale • Quiet operation — I can grind early without waking anyone • Excellent value for the price — very few grinders in this range offer this much flexibility and performance Overall, the HiBREW G5 is a joy and actually fun to use. Between its thoughtful design, consistent performance, and ease of use, it’s quickly become one of my favorite tools in the coffee-making process. It’s a perfect companion to the HiBREW H10A, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable grinder that punches well above its weight. Highly recommended.

Excellent grinder. I’m very impressed with the quality and performance. The grind adjustment is extremely precise, allowing me to make very small changes and achieve a fine grind that produces an excellent espresso. It feels sturdy and well built, and one of the things I like most is the very low retention—almost no ground coffee is left inside after grinding. Overall, it works beautifully, feels durable, and gives me the consistency I was looking for. A fantastic product and definitely worth it.

This is a very decent grinder for the money, build quality is nice, grind is consistent, my only issue is that the grind setting doesn't have a locking mechanism so particularly with espresso the grinder will tend to loosen up a bit as it grinds. I end up having to adjust the grind after each use to keep it at the same grind setting

Excellent espresso grinder! I was looking for the best single dose espresso grinder. This is the one! I have been using it daily and it has performed flawlessly: 1- extremely low retention 2- precise grind adjustability (stepless) 3- solid build quality 4- robust 5- compact design 6- very very very quiet (for a grinder) 7- easy to clean 8- affordable (i could have spent 4x-8x more to see a difference) 9- simple (I.e: no PHD required) Very happy with it! Highly recommended! This review is purely for the best grinder in espresso single dose.

Really like this grinder. It's very quiet and does a great espresso grind. A lot of so-called "espresso" grinders don't actually grind fine enough for a good espresso...but this one sure does. I don't do Turkish coffee, so I can't say whether or not the grind for that is truly fine enough, but for espresso, it's wonderful. Which setting? Well, depending on which beans I'm grinding, I generally set it to around 11 or 10 for espresso.

This is easily the best grinder for the money. It also has a very wide range of grind levels for which ever type of coffee you wish to brew. It is highly recommended.

This unit works much better than the brand I previously used. Clean, sleek, well made and nice precise adjustments. And it is cheaper than other models that measure out the coffee and store the beans. I don't usually write reviews, but am very impressed with this grinder - especially for the price.

Junk as single dose espresso grinder. Grind retention over 1g!!! See photo what I cleaned from it after just few uses. Impossible to keep grind settings. Every time you push that bellows to eject remaining grinds top part spins a little and all your dialing is gone. Definitely not an espresso grinder without some modifications.

I like it, good quality and construction, solid metal, have, good quality coffee for espresso.

Excelente producto. Preciso, rápido y cómodo para expresso pero por ser monodosis es impráctico si quieres moler cantidades superiores a los 60 o 70 gramos. Si lo quieres para hacer una taza de expresso oara ti y un par de capuchinos para la familia o amigos este molino te resultará mas que adecuado. Si usas el fuelle y atomizas los granos con un poco de agua la retensión será prácticamente nula. Realmente estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.

Es muy preciso, tiene un diseño espectacular, y sobre todo es muy silencioso, esto es importante en las mañanas ya que no despertamos a la familia.

Llevo una semana usándolo a diario, lo compré principalmente para espresso, la verdad es que mejoraron muchísimo y me he ahorrado mucho tiempo en las preparaciones, si es preciso y si es molienda uniforme, al principio si noté algo de retención, solo es cuestión de presionar bien el fuelle y con técnica ya que si no tienes cuidado puedes mover engrane de molienda, estoy feliz porque me sirve para el día a día, salen deliciosos los espressos, creo que no encontré una reseña de este molino en México, y pues si algún mexicano quiere el molino bueno, sin duda es la opción, además está súper bonito

Tenía mucha ilusión por probar este molino, pero la experiencia ha sido muy mala. Desde que lo recibí, el producto ya mostraba señales de haber sido usado previamente. A los pocos días de uso, comenzó a fallar el mecanismo principal: el anillo de ajuste de molienda se siente flojo, no embona con la base y la flecha indicadora ya no se alinea, lo que hace imposible calibrar la molienda para espresso. Por el precio y la expectativa, esperaba calidad.
