Simple to connect, excellent picture quality
The other night my cable/internet carrier had an outage during the World Series! I had to listen to the rest of the game on the radio. The next night, the cable company had ANOTHER outage during the next World Series game and again I was forced to listen to the rest of the game on the radio. I went online the next morning and found some lists of the best indoor TV antennas. Up until now I've now had any luck with them at all. The Channel Master FLATenna was #1 on one of the lists and at $35 I decided to give it a try. This model has no additional power source. It's just a legal size paper sized flat surface with a cable you attach to the bottom and then to the antenna output in back of any TV (yes, even the 2025 flagship smart TV's have 'em). After attaching both ends of the cable and then putting the flat sheet antenna on the wall behind my TV, I turned the set on and found the correct things to click to automatically "find" all of the over the air TV signals this antenna could detect. I now have quite a lot of channels including all of the local network stations (CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX) along with quite a few others and I have to say; the picture is AMAZING!!! This antenna just pulls them all in. I'm pretty near a major city so I don't know how well this antenna would work for people living in out of the way places but I have to say, I am SUPER impressed by the ease of setting this up and by the quality of the signal. No longer will I have to be subjected to various intermittent failures of my cable company's signal. Yes, I'm keeping the provider BUT this antenna has given me a failsafe backup in case of future signal failures, which WILL occur. I cannot be happier with my purchase. This is a great indoor TV antenna for a back up OR if you don't wish to spend on cable any longer, it provides excellent display quality if not the vast array of cable stations a carrier offers. I'm going to watch the rest of the World Series using THIS over the air connection just in case. The picture quality is so good there's no reason not to and only a total power outage will ruin my enjoyment of the series. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Channel Master FLATenna!!!

I am enjoying my TV with this and benefits of less expense.
I use this FLATenna every day. Size is okay. Channel count okay based on my location. I love that after I bought this I found Ion Plus and on IonPlus I found Hudson and Rex...a favorite show until the producers changed it. I also found Sue B Thomas FBI, another favorite. The weather does interfere sometimes, but I like what I get. The price was good. Connectivity was simple. Power is good. The Functionality meets my needs. I love that I no longer have the high costs associated with Dish, or any other big company like Spectrum, etc. Recommend this product.

Adequate but not great
It works well if it's placed in an optimal position with stronger signal reception. It picked up about 50 stations but many of those said "no signal" or had a signal too weak to get a good picture. We ended up with about 20 good channels. There is no signal booster. We have used Channel Master metal outdoor antennas in the past and they were excellent but I can't rave about this indoor flat one which kept falling off the wall. It might be better for more ideal home placement or in geographical areas closer to towers but not so good for more rural locations.

Great Cable Cutter
I have been using the flat antenna's after severing the cable. The reception was O.K., but did break up once-in-awhile. I turned into the Antenna guy on u-tube and was told the channel master was the way to go. One, thing is the shielded cable that screws onto the antenna. The cheap ones use a very thin cable that is conducive to signal strength. I put a splitter on it to go to my Tablo and the strength is 4 dots on all the local channels. I'm very impressed. It was easy to install, and I'm getting an increase of channels in my area.

I struggle to find an indoor HDTV Antenna that works really well.
I struggle to find an indoor HDTV Antenna that works really well. I have tried several. This one performs as well as the others, I've tried but no better. I'm literally 15 miles from the broadcasting stations, so I would expect better performance.

Best Over Air Antenna I've Tried
Guess What? This Channel Master antenna is worth every single penny you pay for it. It brings in so many channels, including the very finicky PSB channel here in the city. And, it doesn't use one of those annoying amplifier things. I appreciate the fact I can connect my own coax cable to it if I want white and also there are tiny holes at all four corners of the antenna to mount with push pins if you don't wish to use the included sticky pads. But what sets this antenna apart from all the dozen others I've tried here in my city is the heavy-duty, shielded cable included. This means the signal from the actual antenna, going to the TV is strong, without interference from electrical currents in the wall, or around outlets, or the power cable at the back of the TV. This makes the difference. Think of the size of elbow macaroni in mac and cheese and spaghetti. The larger the cable means more insulation from interence so you get the strongest signal possible. My Samsung TV is 2 years old, 4K/UHD, and the picture is even better, almost 3D, with this Channel Master deluxe OTA antenna. Bravo to the manufacturer and thanks.

All things being equal...
Table of contents: 1. What is in the box 2. Testimonial 3. What the?!?! 4. Final thoughts ---- 1. About the antenna: super simple and as unobtrusive and low profile as it gets, comes with a quality coax cable* and some 3m stickers. 2. I'm not a cord cutter, I'm a 'cord never,' and have always received tv from antennas. I am no expert, but I have more experience with this stuff than the average consumer. I currently have a large rooftop rig on my house that brings in about 36 channels. Recently, my widowed aunt expressed frustration at her cable bill. She'd forgotten all about antennas and ota TV, so I showed her my set up and offered to help her investigate whether OTA was an option for her. Our first step should have been to check antennaweb, but there are so many mitigating factors, I thought, lets just see what she was getting right now with little to no investment. Hook up any old antenna to see what if anything is coming in. I could not find an old radioshack set top antenna I thought had stashed away, so on the recommendation of ota tv expert, AntennaMan, I ordered her this channel master Flatenna . It's not a rooftop, but I thought that since it was from a legit name brand, tested, and endorsed by a trusted expert, it'd give us a sense of whether or not she could cut the cord without giving up too much. Positioning antennas is a process, (at least usually!). Since I had no idea where would be a good spot at her place, to start off, I just used some push pins to cradle (NOT Pierce) this antenna on the wall temporarily. I positioned it right over her 10+ yo Samsung 38" TV (tiny, right?) and we did our first channel scan. As it picked up channels, I told her, that given her viewing habits, if it picked up even 10 stations, she should seriously consider cutting the cord... as we blew passed 30 received channels, I got excited for her. At 44 channels, I became jealous... at 60 DTV channels, my jaw dropped... when it stopped at 86 channels, we both thought something was wrong, and that it must be giving false positives. Expecting a dose of hard, disappointing reality, I first confirmed that all the major networks (pbs, abc, cbs, nbc, fox) were indeed coming in. They were, and crystal clear (yay!). Then I started checking the ones I knew were distant, To my surprise (shock really), they all came in as clear as our local broadcasters. I didn't have time to go through all 86 channels, but I could not find one unwatchable signal, (we probably confirmed 35 of the 86) and I learned of some stations I didn't even know were possible in our area. 3. I started to try to work out how this could be. After all, I have a giant rooftop* set-up and I barely get 36 stations. This was an indoor set up that I didn't even try to position thoughtfully. Plus, my aunt lives in a more rural* setting than I… But then I thought about her location*, she is better positioned between two major broadcast hubs. She is 10 miles from, one, the other, about 33. I am much closer to our local hub than the other. More imortantly, she is at a much higher elevation*, and at the top of a hill. All large trees* are at least 100' from her antenna. Even though I have a rooftop, I live in a valley*, with some large trees in close proximity that no doubt inhibit my reception. Plus, my tv tuner* (a 3yo 65" LG4k budget tv that I regret purchasing) may not be as good at decoding stations as her older Samsung. Newer isn't always better, especially given the role of planned obsolescence in the marketplace. 4. All that being said, your milage will vary WILDLY, and you shouldn't expect miracles from any antenna let alone this one. Just make note of all the factors that the experts point to and that I have I outlined (via asterisks *); proximity to stations, elevation, age/quality of TV tuner, quality of coax, obstructions like trees and tall structures, (home meterials, wood, brick, concrete, metal walls) all these will affect the performance of your antenna. All things being equal, I think this simple but quality antenna will give you as good a reception as you can get in the location you place it in. It will do so without you or your guests noticing its presence, it is as low profile as things can be in the antenna world. There are a lot of junk antennas out there, a lot of false claims and marketing lies, but you will not have to worry about the Channel Master Flextenna's abilities, they are legit!

Happy with slimline design, reception
I was missing my college basketball games when they randomly aired on ABC during the regular season, so I dove down the antenna rabbit hole to find a cheap (non-streaming services) solution. I knew I wanted a white flat interior antenna that I could mount high on a wall in an inconspicuous spot. Chatgpt recommended amplified antennas to pick up ABC specifically due to the VHF frequencies they now use, but it also said that the Channel Master FLATenna does a good job. I could not find the Channel Master FLATenna Plus (the actual original recommendation) on Amazon. However, the FLATenna reviews looked really good, so I decided to give it a try since there was a lightening deal which put it at an excellent price point. I live in the metro Denver area, which increases my chances of good reception. It had same-day delivery and was easy to set up (attaching the coax cable in the back of my TV was tricky, but that's a funtion of the TV input spacing). Channel scan picked up 71 channels, not sure if they're all watchable, but the main ones I'm interested in looks really good (ABC, CBS, NBC). I am taking a star off because there is no option to select a white cord instead of the black one. It makes sense to me that if the product is sold with a dual-sided black/white color scheme, you should be able to choose the cable that matches the color of the side you plan to use. Instead I'm now having to buy a white cable at half the price I paid for the antenna 🙄 I'm also going to add a right-angle adapter to run the cable horizontally into the corner and down the wall. Anyhow, I need to get back to NBC, Olympics Mixed Team Skeleton has unexpectedly sucked me in 😆

Great reception
Very good reception but you may need to try several locations to receive best results

Probably one of the best
Bought this to replace a cheaper flat antenna and it works much better. It's plucking up more channels and has improved some previously iffy channels. I bought this because i read that cable thickness is important. Most of these kind of things have a thin cable, but this one had a thick cable which allegedly is better. I put this in a window and works fine. I did have to buy a converter to plug it into the tv which was disappointing but they are cheap. Beyond that its easy to install. Plug and play. Overall pleased.

I get 25 channels by hanging panel near window on the wall close to the ceiling. Very easy to install. Great product.

Fonctionne mais sans les volets de fermés dommage...

Delgada
Cumple con su función, pero no es excepcional. Es más delgada que otras antenas de “pared”.
