All in all, a delicious seasoning. I have tried it on eggs, on simple avocado toast and in a brine for homemade pickles. As you would expect, it is reminiscent of Everything bagels - lots of nice onion and garlic and sesame seeds (which give a nice crunch). The poppy seeds give it hint of almost licorice-like taste that is unexpected but very good. I appreciate that this seasoning, while salted (no salt version available) is not overly salty. You can add more or less of it to your food, but it wont over-salt it. Of course for some things i added a touch of salt to taste, but i would rather have that than have too much and be stuck (Tony Chachere - I'm looking at you!). I can imagine this is also delicious on buttered noodles or on garlic toast. Would also try searing a tuna steak with it (vs just sesame seeds). Overall i am very pleased with this purchase and would buy it again.

I LOVE this seasoning. I used it on discard crackers and they were delicious. I even made up a salad dressing with a teaspoon of this seasoning and it was wonderful. I'm very happy with this product and will buy it again when I run out.

Love this! Purchased this product as an alternative to Trader Joes Everything But The Bagel Seasoning. I like the larger size and overall the flavor is pretty close to Trader Joes. Good price too! This is my second purchase of the product - very happy.

I know a lot of people who have everything bagel seasoning. I completely love those bagels and the seasoning peaked my interest. I literally put this on everything! And I do mean EVERYTHING. Eggs, meats, fish, raw veggies, cooked veggies, salads, cream cheese and I’ve added to butter for a kick. If you decide to cook with it, add it to your meats and etc once it’s done. If you sprinkle it too early, the seasonings will get mushy and the whole consistency and taste is off... learn from my mistake. The taste is as expected... like an everything bagel.. minus the bagel. 😍

Again, in a side by side comparison on flavor, Trader Joe's came out on top. BUT, once I started using this, I realized it is really good too and for the price a much better value for my money. I did see another brand on the shelf at Walmart and tried it....worst of the three, imo. Also, these guys have changed their packaging and it is now double sealed, plastic around the outside, freshness covering inside. Update: Contacted the company after they reached out to me and was issued a full refund so I could repurchase! So, A+ for customer service and bringing my review to a 3 star. I did reorder their product and will update again in a couple of days. Update2: Received new item. Better, but not perfectly sealed. Fresher. Still prefer Trader Joe's stronger flavors. Sealed for Freshness seal was off, meaning not affixed to plastic jar but instead stuck inside the lid. I decided the product was probably not tampered with, so I put it on avocado toast to test it out. Definitely had a stale-ish taste. Also, thinking Wishful Seasoning would replace Trader Joe's is wishful thinking....I felt the reviews out there were 50/50 just as good vs not as good so I wanted to test for myself. IF I'd tried this first and it was super fresh, I might have been okay with it, but in a side by side, no comparison.

This was an accident, I meant to buy the salt free version but somehow I got the regular one. Luckily, it's not salty! I was looking for something to replace the whole foods brand everything seasoning, which has giant chunks of salt in it. Makes a bagel dang near inedible. This one doesn't have any granules of salt, it must just be lightly sprinkled with powdered salt before bottling. No discernible salty taste at all. Perfect!

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to Trader Joe's Everything but the bagel seasoning. I bake bagels from scratch, and I end up using an entire 2.5oz bottle of EBTB seasoning, at a nice $7 each and I still needed more seasoning to cover 9 bagels with the seasoning. It tastes amazing on the fresh bagels, but was just so pricey. I coated my boiled bagel dough in whipped egg white + water, and then generously coated them in the Wishful Bagel seasoning. In my opinion it's not very much like everything bagel seasoning, more like a very garlicky sesame with some poppy here and there. It does not smell anything like an everything bagel, but that isnt a bad thing for everyone. If you like garlic and salt and a more mild flavor on the bagel, this is for you. The seasoning is unfortunately not a replacement for Trader Joe's, and for the price it does FINE, it just isnt quite as delectable and flavorful as the other seasonings. It's a very unique flavor for sure, and if you wanted a cool and unheard of flavor on your bagel, this would do well. But for my bagel baking needs, it just doesnt fit the shoe.
