This Toilet Seat riser was quite easy to assemble and there were only 4 screws to install, the rest are the depression buttons that are used to adjust the height or width of the riser. The depression buttons are a bit hard to press in but I think that will get easier the more you use it. This is very ideal for the elderly or for people with knee and back problems that have difficulty lowering themselves down onto the toilet or standing back up. The frame is very sturdy and I can put my full weight onto the handles and seat with no issues. The seat is firm but not hard so it is more comfortable than the actual toilet seat. It did fit well into the smaller half bathroom where there was not much space to maneuver around in. I suffer from bad knees and it is sometimes very hard to bend down. The raised handles help a lot with this and it makes going to the washroom much easier and I do not dread it so much anymore. I like the toilet paper roll holder that can be placed almost anywhere on the frame so that you do not have to lean down. There is also a nice magazine holder in case you need to spend a little bit of time taking care of your business.

Arrived well packaged and in good condition. Spent about an hour assembling all the parts only to realize that one of the bolts that holds it together would not thread to the adjacent part. It was pretty clearly defective. Fortunately I could return the item, but lost a,most 2 hrs in the process of assembling and disassembling and in the end, did not have the seat my mom needed.

This comes in very many pieces and it takes a bit to put together. Once made, it feels pretty sturdy although it's still lightweight so you can move it easily. I think it's practical and useful. But I do think it's quite expensive. Seniors are on tight budgets so many won't be able to afford this. I think for what this is, it should be less expensive.
