This is a smaller unit compared to other large vehicle jump starters. Have used it 3 times since purchase. Once on my kenworth t680 and 2 other times on different semitrucks. Each time the truck started right up. Probably has enough charge to jump 5 or 6 trucks before needing to be recharged. The cables can be a little tricky to get tucked back in but really a non-issue. Easy and quick to use.

This jump starter is one of those things you hope you never need, but you're incredibly thankful to have when you do. It’s compact enough to keep in my vehicle, yet powerful enough to handle much larger engines than I expected. I recently had a dead battery situation, and instead of waiting for help or trying to find jumper cables, I was back on the road within minutes. The unit was easy to use, and the instructions were straightforward. I love having the extra peace of mind knowing I can handle an unexpected battery issue on my own. Overall, a great investment for anyone who drives regularly. Definitely something every vehicle should have in the trunk!

The DM1264 heavy‑duty jump starter is an impressive piece of equipment, built with the kind of reliability you want when dealing with large diesel engines. Although I'm unable to test the 30,000A peak rating I can attest that this unit delivers the current needed to turn over high‑compression engines without hesitation. I tested it in cold conditions, and the cold weather starting capability is absolutely legitimate. I was using it in about -24C(-11.2F) and it came through each and every time and actually states it is rated to work in up to -40C/F. Voltage stability is excellent, and the unit maintains safe output levels even under heavy load which is extremely important not to fry equipment. The build quality seems strong, with solid terminals, thick cables, and a housing that feels ready for shop, roadside, or fleet use. The clamps on this are some of the strongest clamps I have seen on a booster and give and extremely strong grip. They do take some hand strength to get them to open - not an issue, just so you are aware. The cables slide nicely inside the bottom of the unit which makes it much nicer to move around and for storage. The internal battery management system does a great job regulating charge and preventing over‑current or reverse polarity issues. It’s also surprisingly portable for something with this much power, making it practical to keep in a truck, service vehicle, or garage. It weighs around 14LBS but has a nice strong handle and is evenly weighted making it relatively easy to carry around. What stands out most is how quickly it recovers between uses and how confidently it handles large displacement engines, both gasoline and diesel. The largest engine I tested this on was a 14.9L diesel, and it boosted it without the slightest hesitation. I also used it on smaller engines including an 8.9L diesel, a 6.6L diesel, and a 6.0L gas and it handled all of them effortlessly This is not a consumer booster, it’s a professional‑level booster designed for commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, and anyone who needs guaranteed starting power in harsh conditions. Next, this thing does have the option to charge external equipment via USB, 12V car adapter and a DC port. With the massive amount of power storage this thing has - it gives it endless uses and options that could be useful in a lot of different situations. It also has a nice powerful light on it that has a solid beam, red and blue warning light and an SOS option which is a nice feature to have in emergency situations. If you need a dependable, high‑output jump starter that performs exactly as advertised, this one is built to do the job. Well deserved 5 stars.

I tried this monster jump starter on a diesel truck and it worked as a piece of cake in a cold Canadian winter day after other smaller starters failed. First of all , everything feels so sturdy and heavy duty and built to last , the cables , the poles , the buttons , everything . The led light is so bright and can lighten the space as if it were day light . The battery lasted long even in -15 to -20 C. It has a DC charger , car charger , 2 fast USBs and 1 type C charger . It has no AC outlet though . It takes seconds to jump a V6 pick up easily regardless the conditions. The portability is questionable cause heavy and bulkier than others . I like how the poles are hanged to the sides and the cords does not cause a mess around . The carrying handle feels so sturdy and its grip is good . The outlets has no covers which is weird for a heavy duty monster like this. The screen is easy to read and it even gives alert for faulty connections . Great heavy duty jumper in general

Very powerful starter. My neighbor had an accident and couldn't drive after surgery and as such his diesel truck was parked for months without use. At some point he tried to start it but with -40C, it wouldn't go anywhere. I saw his son tried with a smaller starter, but he drives a small car so the starter wasn't strong enough. I saw them struggling in the cold, but fortunately I remembered this beast of a charger. OMG it had no issue whatsoever starting the truck on first try! This thing is heavy and powerful. The clamps are strong, much stronger than some I've seen that the cover shattered when used a few times. It also recovered very quickly after starting the truck. I like it that it also comes with a 12v plug that can be used, for example, for a tire inflator, and USB ports that can be used to charge a phone or some other accessory in a pinch. Anyway, it's heavy but packs a punch, even in extreme cold conditions and gives us the peace of mind that we won't get stuck because of a dead battery.

When I ordered this, I had high hopes. But Kinda got disappointed after trying it out a couple of times. So this is a nice heavy-duty jumper starter. However, after testing it out in a real-world environment, given how expensive this thing is, I'm quite disappointed. Okay, so here's why: First and foremost, this is supposed to be a heavy-duty jump starter designed for heavy-duty equipment like trucks, tractors, etc. So why is there no protective seal around its various openings? Like there's a bunch of DC and USB plugs, but they are all left open. I only use this outside of a garage. In the dirt, snow, dust, etc. Just after one use, the ports were filled with snow. Right now, it is winter here, but I'm sure the same thing happens with dirt. Also, if they aren't going to cover all those ports, why did they put them there in the first place? Most people have power banks these days. There's no need to include features that are 1- not necessary, 2- add vulnerability to the unit. This is supposed to be a heavy-duty jump starter. Now granted, it did jump-start the truck I was trying to jump-start. But definitely not worth it at this price point of almost $2k. Now, keep in mind, there's a class 8 12V 64,000 mAh battery with 30,000 A peak current. So this will get you unstuck where some other jump starters won't. But it's not for everyone. There's another point of sale that advertises this starter to work in extreme temperatures between -40 degrees F and 140 degrees F. That's between -40 degrees Celsius and 60 degrees Celsius. I don't know if the higher end of it is true, but it did hold its own in -35 (with wind chill). Another note, this jump starter is big and heavy. It's meant to be, I guess. Not a complaint. Just a note, so you know. Feature-wise, I know I complained earlier about the DC and USB ports. My complaint is mainly due to how exposed they are. But sure, they are useful. You get one single car charger. That's kinda disappointing for a jump starter of this calibre. I would have expected at least two. Also, unfortunately, there's no AC output. I have a few much lower-powered and smaller jump starters that have built-in inverters that can provide 110V. This feature would have been a great plus. Overall, yes, I'm quite disappointed. This will get your vehicle/equipment started. However, due to its design faults, it may easily get damaged. I suggest putting a tape over all the open plugs to prevent snow, moisture, and dirt from getting in. Also, given the price point, I don't feel I'm getting something worth the price...
