Incredible Illustrations and only text from Psalm 23. Lovely!

Psalm 23 is one of my favorites in the bible. I have a small collection of Psalm 23 books. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the colors are vibrant. Children of all ages will love this book. Helps children learn about God.

This is a beautifully illustrated book of Psalm 23. Just a line or two per page really helps with memorization if that is what you are looking for and also allows for lots of pictures! I only wish I had found this sooner!

This is just a beautiful book. It spreads The 23rd Psalm among the pages so there is not a lot of writing on one page-which is very good for children. The illustrations are very detail oriented . The children were mesmerized by the pictures and the Psalm. This is a book that will definitely be added to the family collection.

One of the very best children's book in our possession (and we have an extensive library). From age 7 months, my child was mesmerized with these pictures, alternating between favorite images every month or so. It has had a *huge* impact on his imagination and thoughts, and after having it for only a month, if he was crying, I could begin reciting the psalm and he would stop crying to listen--I'm sure, imagining the images in his mind as I spoke. We recite it when he is afraid, or even when something in the day or at church relates to the concepts in the psalm. It's wondrous to realize that my child has a passage of scripture memorized by age one, simply from hearing it in conjunction with beautiful pictures over and over again. I truly wish that R.J. Watson and other children's illustrators would create more books like this, because it's such a powerful way of introducing scripture to children, not to mention adults.

The 23 Psalm is a beautiful scripture. Richard Watson uses his gift from God to illustrate the most moving illustrations - each page filled with beauty to comfort the soul. We gave this book to a woman battling cancer. She loved it! I know this book will bring her comfort. I highly recommend all of Richard Watson's books. Thank you. Callie Harvey

What a gorgeous book. Bought it for a young boy with emotional issues. Along with other approaches it’s been a calming resource letting him know that he’s watched over by another power as well as his father, mother, other family members and friends. It is worth every penny of its price.

Exactly what I was looking for! A means to repeat the Word of God over and over again to an infant.

I love this book! The illustrations are beautiful. I got a few copies to give out as birth presents. My 8 years old loves it.

This is more of a picture book, than a commentary on the Psalm! The artistry is very good, but I thought there would be words of wisdom shared on one of the most beloved Psalms in the Bible. Even the books protective cover says, "Thoughtful commentary included at the end of the book brings the King James Version of Psalm 23 alive for readers young and old", but there was no such commentary in the book at all! Maybe they forgot to add it in the book, but this was very disappointing since I spent a good penny for the book. It is a hardcover book, and I guess that is partially why the cost was higher, but not getting what was advertised as being apart of the book was a big let down.
