They recently changed the formula of this item and it is soooo gross. It used to be good and I ate it daily but the change in formula completely ruined it. There is now weird fake chicken chunks that gross me out and it has a weird wet dog like smell. It tastes nothing like the old formula and they did not even warn the consumers that the formula changed !! Of course the item isn't eligible for return so I'm just stuck with these $35 packets i'll never eat, despite them giving no warning. So frustrating wish they would change it back... they even got rid of the cups which were so convenient. Talk about blowing it lol.

I keep a box of these at work to have for lunch every day I am in the office. Preparation is easy and quick. Tastes great. My coworkers comment that it seems like a small portion for a meal, but I tell them with the protein and other ingredients, it's filling. I love the convenience. A meal in a pouch, healthy, tastes good.

I was pleasantly surprised by the serving size of the Chick’n & Mushroom Huel Hot & Savory cup. For a 400-calorie meal, I wasn’t expecting it to be this filling. It definitely satisfied my hunger and didn’t feel like a “diet meal” at all. That said, the cooking instructions seem a little off. The label says to fill with water to the line, microwave for 1 minute, stir, then heat for another 30 seconds and let it sit for 5 minutes. I followed that exactly, but the noodles were still a bit crunchy and the texture hadn’t thickened much. Here’s what worked better for me: Microwave for 1.5 minutes, stir, then heat for another 1.5 minutes, and then let it sit for 5 minutes. After that, the noodles were soft and the consistency was spot on. As far as taste goes, it’s not gourmet—but that’s not the point. This is a healthy, plant-based convenience meal, and for what it is, it delivers. It’s quick, balanced, guilt-free, and genuinely satisfying. I’ll definitely be ordering again and trying other flavors. Overall, I’m happy with these meals—they make eating clean a lot easier.

The noodles were smaller than in the photograph and as I reached the bottom of the cup, it tasted like I was eating dirt soup.

The taste is so disgusting, the texture is gritty and the smell is gross! One bite and I spit it out, now I can't get the taste out of my mouth. It was a total waste of money!

Good for a quick meal but the taste isn’t quite there

I don't know what the other reviewers were thinking but I think it's pretty good overall. I mean there is a tiny learning curve for cooking times to make the pasta the right consistency but I really like these meals. I have eaten the chicken mushroom so far. Easy to make and not a lot of waste

Tastes so so bad. Makes an MRE look incredible. This shouldn’t be marketed for human consumption.
