The chain arrived on time and is beautiful and sturdy. I would buy it again if I had the need to do so.

Really, REALLY sparkly and shiny! Honestly, when I opened it, I was a bit disappointed because it was a lot thinner than I expected for the price. It's not SUPER thin, but it is thin. I have 4 other gold chains, and none are as thin as this one. But I really didn't know what a 1.1 mm chain would look like, I mean 1.1 mm IS pretty small. I opened it in my dark bedroom, but once I walked into my living room with it with the sun shining in my windows I fell in LOVE. This chain is by FAR the brightest, shiniest, sparkliest (not a word I don't think) gold chain I have. I am keeping it for sure, and happily! Oh, and it has a very small lobster claw clasp that I have a tough time working because it's small, I may bring it to my local jeweler and get a larger one put on...but if you are younger than 54, you'll probably do fine with it. ;) I added a pic of the chain, please ignore my old lady skin and my thyroid cancer scar...but hey, better old than dead!!! :D

It is very nice quality & the 3rd one I've bought!

First, the necklace is lovely and matches the picture on the Amazon site. But when putting it on, the loop was so delicate and fragile, I'm worried that it will break. Also, while I used a magnified picture of the loop, the Amazon site used a magnified picture of the 14K stamp on the necklace. It was hard to find, and when we did, we had to use a magnifying glass, and it was still difficult to make out. And note to self: next time, when ordering a necklace, order at least a 24 length. The 22 inch is not long enough. But that one's on me.

It's shiny and substantial enough for everyday wear.

I will start by telling you that I went to local jewelry stores and looked at a variety of different gold chains. I would recommend that everyone do that prior to ordering on-line. Look especially at the chain diameter. O.7, 1.0 etc. The box chain is one of the strongest chains available. That is why kids chose this type of chain. I knew how liking I wanted. I bought both the 18” and the 24”. The fit exactly as they should on me. The chain was the diameter that I expected and the length expected. They are both beautiful. They can also hold a pendant with a bit of weight to it.

Read all of the reviews. As many have noted, the chains they received were not the correct thickness as advertised. The chain I received is worth over $50 less with tax. The 1.1mm chain was less than 1mm - more like .8mm. That’s a problem when you’re buying something that’s valued by the net weight. Classic bait and switch. I had purchased as a Valentine’s Day gift which arrived only two days prior. So having me return the item for a refund and return was a real burden and not feasible for a condition I did not create. Amazon offered me a $5 promo code to make amends. I thought it was a joke - they were serious. It’s a horrible experience to buy jewelry in person, and even worse to try and do it online. Nasty dishonest rats.

A bit smaller than what I expected, but is nice for a young person.

This 20 inch gold chain is absolutely beautiful. It is exactly what I wanted. It has a lobster clasp perfect for the size of chain. When I want/need anything else, I will not hesitate for a second to order from this retailer. Oh, I ordered it Friday and it was here on Monday.
