Lifepro BioRemedy Plus Infrared Sauna Blanket for Home Detox

As I wrap myself in the warm cocoon of the **LifePro Sauna Blanket**, I'm transported to a serene oasis. Here's why this blanket has become an essential part of my self-care routine: ## **1. The "High" and Relaxation Factor** Picture this: I settle into the blanket, and the infrared heat envelops me like a gentle hug. It's not just warmth; it's a soothing embrace that melts away the day's stress. Whether I've had an intense workout or a marathon workday, the LifePro Sauna Blanket offers a **luxurious escape**. As the heat penetrates my skin, my muscles relax, and my mind unwinds. It's like a mini spa session right in my home. And here's the kicker: **I've experienced something akin to a runner's high**—that euphoric feeling where stress dissipates, and pure relaxation takes over. ## **2. Towel or Plastic Insert: My Personal Choice** I've experimented with both options—the **disposable towel** and the **reusable towel**. When I want a hassle-free experience, I lay down a disposable towel inside the blanket. It absorbs any sweat or moisture, and cleanup is a breeze. But on days when I'm feeling eco-conscious, I opt for a soft, reusable towel. A quick wash, and it's ready for the next session. And here's a pro tip: Some users recommend placing a thin plastic insert (like a shower curtain liner) beneath the blanket. It adds an extra layer of protection, ensuring my mattress stays dry even during the most intense sweat sessions. But wait, there's more! For an all-natural, effective cleanup solution, I mix equal parts **vinegar and water** in a spray bottle, adding a few drops of my favorite **essential oil** (lavender, anyone?). A spritz here and there, wipe it down, and voilà—fresh and ready for the next blissful sauna experience. ## **3. Quality vs. Price: A Pleasant Surprise** I was skeptical at first—how could a reasonably priced sauna blanket deliver quality? But the LifePro Sauna Blanket proved me wrong. The materials are sturdy, the stitching impeccable. The infrared technology efficiently warms my body, promoting circulation and detoxification. It's like having my own personal sauna without breaking the bank. But here's the kicker: **unlike other sauna blankets, the LifePro can reach higher temperatures**. So, if you're craving that intense, sweat-inducing session, this blanket delivers. ## **4. Easy Storage: No Fuss, No Clutter** When I'm done with my blissful sauna time, storage is a breeze. The blanket's compact design allows me to fold it neatly and tuck it away. No bulky equipment, no dedicated sauna room needed. And here's the bonus: it's **incredibly lightweight**. You won't strain your muscles lugging it around, yet it doesn't compromise on quality. ## **5. Arm Openings: A Game-Changer** Now, let's talk about the feature that truly sets the LifePro Sauna Blanket apart—the **arm openings**. Unlike other blankets that make you feel trapped, these openings give me freedom. I can read, sip herbal tea, or even check my phone while enjoying the sauna. It's a thoughtful touch that enhances the entire experience. In summary, the LifePro Sauna Blanket combines affordability, quality, and thoughtful design. Whether I seek relaxation, detoxification, or post-workout recovery, this blanket has me covered—literally!

I have been wanting to get a sauna for quite a while, but I only have experience with the typical steam or dry heat you have at spas or gyms. For home use Infared seems to be the most popular option, but I was wary spending $2000+ for something I have never tried before. This sauna blanket was just what I needed. And now I actually think I like this more than an actual sauna. Pros: The ability to lay down while using, a feature that would be hard to get from a traditional home sauna unless you can spend thousands of dollars and have tons of space. Heats up well and fairly evenly. Easy to get zip up and seems sturdy and well made. The arm holes are a must have! Timing and temp adjustable, with auto turn off. Can't beat the price point. Relaxes sore muscles. Cons: The heating elements can burn if you do not prepare. The first time I used it I ended up with vertical red lines all over, and that was at the lowest heat setting. They went away after a shower so no real damage done but I prepared better for the next session. Place a towel down on the bottom where you will lay or a least wear thick sweat pants. The remote control gets hot also, so be careful where you lay it down. I am very happy with my sauna blanket, use it almost every day and have worked my way up to max temp. I like to turn on some spa music and just relax. I hope it lasts a long time.

Updated Review (after recall & replacement): I wanted to update my original review now that more time has passed. Initially, I noted that the controller got very hot, and some small plastic pieces fell off. Since then, this item was officially recalled due to the overheating issue, which validated those early concerns. I followed the recall instructions to request a replacement, and I’ll give credit where it’s due: the replacement arrived much faster than expected, and the process itself was straightforward. The new unit has been working well. The blanket is a cozy way to relax and warm up during colder months. It’s easy to use, simple to clean, and folds up neatly for storage. I haven’t had the same overheating issue with the replacement, which is reassuring. Overall, while the recall was concerning, the company handled it appropriately, and the replacement product has met my expectations so far. Original Review: So far so good. Plastic pieces fell off already though. The controller gets VERY hot, so be mindful where you set it.

I've been using this at least every other day and afterwards I feel more relaxed and calm than any chill pill could provide. It makes you sweat and gets as hot as a conventional sauna, I think more. If you don't know far infrared benefits, they act kind of like exercise in that they raise your metabolism and you burn calories. They also increase lifespan, remove heavy metals and other toxins from inside your body, are the only thing proven to reverse congestive heart failure, and so much more. Research all the benefits. If you are sedentary like me it's the best thing you can do for your health. I do it watching TV buck naked on my recliner usually 45 minutes to an hour at around 130°. The armhole gives me easy access to the remote control for the device but more importantly the TV remote and my large glass of water. You may need to work up to the time and temperature. Anything hotter than 130 s and the surfaces that aren't touching my skin are too hot to touch when I need to reposition. After I cook for a while the sweat actually drips out the bottom so you may want to put a towel under the lowest part where the sweat drips out. I go in naked and wipe the inside with vinegar water when I'm done. My head sweats plenty even though it's not exposed to the Heat. I forgot to mention if you're prone to getting annoyed or agitated this will make you a nice person for the rest of the day. Make sure your replenish your electrolytes when you're done. If you're into electrolyte replacement drinks that would be beneficial. I just eat something with light salt that contains potassium afterwards and that does the trick.

I bought a pop up steam sauna along with this because I wanted the best of both worlds without taking up space in my small condo. This doesn't get super hot, but it does make you sweat which is exactly what I was looking for. It sort of feels like a heating pad all across your body which is just an incredible feeling. I love the arm holes so you can do things while you sweat. I can literally sit in this thing for an hour or more. When I get out I'm just drenched in sweat. This is a great product and I'm happy to have found it. It comes with a lifetime warranty if you register the blanket which is nice. I haven't used the warranty so I don't know how legit it is, but something to mention. If you're looking for something really hot this might not be for you. There are sauna suits you can wear that I am going to try out with this to see if it makes a big difference. If you have the money I think it pairs well with a popup steam sauna. My steam sauna gets me really hot this product makes me sweat so that's why I think it's a good pairing. One thing I wanted to mention in this review is the emf. The amount of emf this produces is not anything higher than things we have in our house (like computers and cell phones). When I ordered this I barely knew anything about emf so it concerned me. Fortunately if you dig into it emf it's nothing concerning on lower levels like this. I think whatever harm it could possibly do would pale in comparison to the benefits it provides. Sweating is how our bodies detoxify. The benefits of saunas are insane and everyone should have one. The concept of a sauna blanket is genuis and I'm tempted to get one for everyone I know now.

I have a tent sauna that has a max of 140 degrees-- which is 36 fewer degrees than the max temp of this blanket-- and within 10 minutes of getting in that IR sauna at 120 and as it increases, I am literally sweating to death. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. This one I bought as a supplement because sitting in an uncomfortable chair in the tent sauna isn't always fun so I thought I could alternate and use this on the couch or in a recliner. I certainly can do that, but the problem is that laying in this blanket for an hour at 176 which is the max temperature, results in very minimal sweating. Also, at that temperature, even wearing sweatpants, parts of the inside surface get too hot to deal with even though I'm not sweating so I have to move the temp down which does not help. This feels like you are laying on a heating pad which is nice if you want to use a heating pad, but the point of an infrared sauna is to make your entire body sweat, not heat parts of your body that are coming into direct contact with a heating element which results in a small amount of sweat only at that contact point which is what a heating pad does. I've never owned an electric blanket but would guess the experience is similar. I've experienced zero sauna effect from this product. The remote is terribly designed. There are cords coming out of the top and bottom of the remote: one is the wall plug and the other connects to the bottom of the blanket. The wall plug end is very short so you have to use an extension cord if you want to have the remote comfortably reachable if you are not a couple of feet away from the outlet. More concerning is that the remote itself gets extremely hot, as in dangerously hot. It feels as though it's going to melt. Some reviews actually have said their remote melted. I can believe it. Add to all that, the reviews that mention the blanket burning and emitting high EMF and you have a potentially dangerous product. I wouldn't even donate it due to these possibilities. The takeaway from this is to always read the 1 star reviews before buying anything.

I have been wanting a two person sauna for some time as the health and skin benefits are amazing, however, I don’t really have the room for one currently. I purchased this sauna blanket from Lifepro instead and have zero regrets. It does everything a sauna does, without the hefty price tag and taking up lots of room. It’s easy to use and easy to store. I always use one of the liners when I use the blanket so I sweat in it instead of the blanket and that works well. When I’m done, I let the blanket cool, roll it up, and put it back under my bed. If you choose to use the blanket without a liner, the material on the inside is easy to wipe down and clean. It gets very warm inside, so you’ll definitely be sweating. Love that it has the zip up slats for my arms so very little heat escapes. A great buy overall!

I already have another mini sauna that I can sit inside, but since I get sleepy sitting for so long, I decided to buy the sauna blanket instead. I’ve used it three times. The first two times I didn’t really sweat even though I had the temperature at the highest setting. The third time I stayed in for 60 minutes and kept my hands inside, and I finally got a good result. I would say it is necessary to wear thicker socks and long sleeves and sweat pants because the direct skin contact with heat is intense. I also put a towel underneath me to absorb sweat. But it’s nice to be able to lie down, listen to restful music, and enjoy the experience, then take a cold shower. Afterwards my body feels very calm, and I do notice that my body recovers faster from small injuries. (I’ve been using another mini sauna prior to getting the blanket but I see the effect is the same.) My husband runs marathons and loves the sauna benefits for faster recovery as well. I’m not sure how long the plastic odor lasts, but hopefully that dissipates over time. I like that it heats up quickly, it’s easy to use, and it has adjustable heat and time settings, and that makes a little sound when finished. I really like how it’s easy to clean, and then takes up so little space. By the way, if you live in a cold climate, you would love coming in from the cold and climbing into this super heated sauna blanket, especially if you feel cold to the bone! I bought one for my sister as a Christmas present because of that. Thank you for making a quality product!

I love this blanket. So soothing and healing. Live the different temperatures settings and it cleans up easily. Great company highly recommend them.

Works great, I slept like a baby after using this for the first time.

I have several severe anxiety disorders and I'm a frequent flyer with my weighted blankets. This sauna blanket is a game changer. It's like a warm hug. I mostly keep it on the lowest setting and I keep both of my arms out (there are zippered slots for both arms). It heats up immediately, no wait time, and you just climb on in, zipper it up, lean back and relax. It's better than a hot/warm bath. It's better than a weighted blanket. It's just this perfect little cocoon of warmth that welcomes you to relax while soothing your body. You will sweat. If you don't sweat on the lowest sweating and want to, just turn it up or stay in for a little longer. It's extremely easy to use, clean, and store. I cannot recommend this sauna blanket more. It calms my anxiety in a unique way that nothing else ever quite has. Absolute 10/10.

On my second unit the first one was on a Government recall for overheating. LifePro recall didn’t come through but Amazon stepped up and sent a replacement. Both Blankets were missing a clip on the zipper but didn’t affect the use. OK unit depends on what you pay.
