Educational benefits- Physical benefits: toy blocks build strength in a child's fingers and hands, and improve eye-hand coordination. They also help educate children in different shapes. Social benefits: block play encourages children to make friends and cooperate, and is often one of the first experiences a child has playing with others. Blocks are a benefit for the children because they encourage interaction and imagination. Creativity can be a combined action that is important for social play. Intellectual benefits: children can potentially develop their vocabularies as they learn to describe sizes, shapes, and positions. Math skills are developed through the process of grouping, adding, and subtracting, particularly with standardized blocks, such as unit blocks. Experiences with gravity, balance, and geometry learned from toy blocks also provide intellectual stimulation. Creative benefits: children receive creative stimulation by making their own designs with blocks. Review: Great set of blocks to have! - I got these block because I remember having some soft foam ones myself as a kid and we used to play with them in the tub. These are almost the exact same ones I had!!! They stick to the side of the tub and each other when they are wet, which can be very fun! Soft, lightweight, fun! The one downside to soft blocks is that my daughter (around 2-2.5 when I bought these) was biting/chewing on them and some of them have pieces/chunks missing and some have gotten thrown out because of that. I don't think she was necessarily eating them, and she has stopped doing that now that she is 3. (I remember doing that with mine too actually, and some of them had teeth/bite marks in them.) It's not a great thing for a kid to do, but they do grow out of it, and regardless of that, they are worth getting!!! Review: This is a very nice set. Good number of blocks to build - This is a very nice set. Good number of blocks to build, but not overwhelming and good variety of different shapes. Since the blocks have a little bit of texture, they stack very nicely with each other and you can build very high without them falling down. I also like that they are so light, so if they fall down or get thrown, there is no worry of injuries. That said, my kids play with them some, but do not seem to like them as much as I do. They still seem to prefer MegaBlocks. These also do attract hair, so if you have pets, be prepared for them to get some hair on them.

King Kong VS Godzilla
I bought these for my 1 year-old niece as a Christmas present last year. My brother and his wife till today still tell me how much she loves them. I didn't get to see them in person until recently because we live in different states. When I visited them, the foam is very sturdy yet soft and they are really big. She absolutely loves when you stack them up really high so she can come knock them down like Godzilla. It's hours of fun!! They are very safe and cool!! I highly recommend them!

great value
These blocks are a great value compared to some others on the market. They have provided lots of fun, creative play for both my two year old and four year old. My only complaint in ordering these on line is that is is very difficult to gage the size of the individual blocks. They are somewhat smaller then I had anticipated, although the quality is great. The picture on the front of the package is very misleading as it shows a child playing with some oversized blocks, which is not actually what is contained in package but probably part of the overall product line. As an FYI if you are considering these, the largest block in this set measures approx 6.5 x 1.75 x 3 inches.

The blocks in the picture are not the blocks I received
The blocks in the photo are not the blocks I received. First of all, they are a completely different color which is a pretty good indication that the picture is inaccurate. Second, the entire reason I purchased this set was because the picture showed that it came with tiny half circles (which my children often use as “chimneys” for their houses). There are no small half circles included with this set. Only large ones. This is just like every other Chinese-made foam block set sold on amazon: Good enough...but not going to meet the expectations of an early childhood education teacher. That said, my kids love them so I’ll keep them. But I wouldn’t purchase these for classroom/library use.

A+ Toy for Toddlers, Preschoolers
My grandson (2 yrs) LOVES these & they don't hurt or break stuff when he gets frustrated & throws them. The foam make them easy to stack and the colors allow for sorting -- an A+ toy for any kid. I actually had a set of these when my kids were growing up so I was delighted to be able to find the same blocks for my grandkids!

68 PIECE FOAM WONDER BLOCKS
These are fun to play with because of all the different shapes. They are lightweight and very colorful, the only complaint I have it because they are lightweight they are easily dented and scored. The storage bag was only good for the shipping. Once the blocks came out it would have been too much trouble to put them back in the same bag. You will need another storage bag. I would like to order the larger set for my grandchildren, they would be fun to use.

Great Set of Blocks
This set is fun for the whole family. The shapes are cut right (unlike the larger blocks) and there are plenty of them that you can actually be quite creative in your creations. I have had one issue with these blocks - they grab hold of pet hair like a magnet holds metal. However, getting the hair off is easy - I was able to get all the blocks hair free with 2 Swiffer Sweeper Dry Sweeping Cloths. Don't get discouraged by them being a hair magnet, it's simple to do and doesn't take very long at all - I think it takes me 10 or 15 minutes tops to get them cleaned off. I would DEFINITELY recommend these to anyone with children.
