Love the 2 in 1 garlic press. Saves time, can't beat the convenience of having both types of cut in one product. Seems sturdy enough but time will tell. Product cleans no better or worse than any other press I have had. If you slice or mince garlic, this is a no brainer.

At first, I thought it would be difficult to clean and wasting the garlic. But I was wrong, there was a black plastic piece that comes in really handy. I thought it was just for cleaning purposes but it also has a flat surface on the other end that acts like a scraper if you will. Once I pressed the garlics, there are a lot of excess left hanging. The scraper can scrape them all down and I could continue to press. It is also heavy and never get rusted. It is super easy to clean with that black plastic piece so don’t lose it. This is an awesome tool and it saves lots of times chopping these garlics. This is a must have in any kitchen really.

Honestly, this lives on the counter top now and I used it about three times a week. It’s a little tricky to align the too metal plates that push the garlic. Once you do that, it’s a great garlic press. I have to open it and close it a few times to push down the garlic that squeezes towards the top. Overall, it’s easy enough to use and works really well. Cleaning is a little hard but a toothpick works well to get it out of the holes. I’ve put it in the dishwasher a few times, but I find it easier to hand wash.

I LOVE garlic, but I hate the smell of it on my hands. For years I’ve tried to mock the taste of fresh garlic with frozen cubes (really good, but hard to find) and minced jarred garlic. My sister made alfredo and it blew mines out of the water- her secret was lots of fresh garlic. I finally decided to break down and buy a garlic mincer. I found this dual purpose mincer and slicer and I am in love!!!! It comes with a scraper to get any pieces that get stuck. I chose this one over the others because of the dual feature and I’m glad I did. I have not put it through the dishwasher, but I can confirm that it hand washes super easy. Now I can enjoy my fresh garlic without smelling like my hands are marinating in it.

This tool saves so much time. A roommate and I both order meals from a service called Every Plate and almost every meal requires chopping or slicing garlic. Will never go back to doing it by hand. I like how it comes with it's own plastic cleaner, but it could use a little longer points to get all the garlic out. I run it through the dish washer and it gets the job done.

It's also easy to clean with the attached, black plastic piece and it's dishwasher safe. It might not be as sleek and thin as other designs but it gets the job done and I'm very satisfied with this. I've had it for several months now and I have a feeling it will last a while!
