Despite the mixed reviews on this product, I’ve received great results in terms of complexion clarity, smoothness, hydration, and treating breakouts. First things first, this product’s effectiveness (and all products) depends on the strength of your own skin barrier. Then, it comes down to how it is applied. I use this every morning and it’s the first thing I apply after cleansing my skin. Then, after a few minutes to dry and absorb, I add my peptides, moisturizer, and SPF—Always allowing minutes between each application to ensure the PH balance and efficacy is not compromised of each product for them to actually work as intended. At night, I apply in this order: tazarotene, azelaic acid, peptides, ceramide cream. And, yes, allowing ample time between applications which can take up to 30 minutes in total. Adding this product will not quicken your routine or results, but it’s effective and my skin barrier stays healthy and intact, leaving no room for stinging and irritation. If you don’t have time for proper application of products, use less products and focus solely on skin barrier repair. All that said, this products works as advertised, but keep in mind the other actives that can compromise an already damaged skin barrier.

Since using it 2 times a day along with washing your face first with a sensitive skin soap it seems to have helped greatly. It does not leave your skin greasy very lite to put on and a little bit goes a long way on your face Would recommend

Personally, I am considering alternative combinations for PIP (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation), but I will reorder to help control my acne. I had a huge bump on my cheek for over a week that just wouldn’t go away. Last night, I tried this cream - applied it before bed - and this morning the bump is completely gone. Not even joking. I don’t know what is in this, but it seriously worked overnight. A couple notes though: the texture is kind of hard, but it spreads easily once you start applying. Just don’t use too much - if you overdo it, it can leave white streaks on your face. I have rosacea, and azelaic acid is a staple in my skincare routine, so I was excited to try this high dose azelaic acid, especially at this price point. This cream contains a high percentage of azelaic acid (14%) which is a great value-wise since other brands only contain 5%-10%, but unfortunately since I have sensitive skin, the overall formula didn’t work well for my skin. The issue for me is that there are too many active ingredients packed into one product. While that can be amazing for some skin types that are also acne prone, for me it was more irritating than calming, which is the opposite of what I’m looking for with rosacea. I noticed more sensitivity rather than redness reduction. Another downside is how it wears during the day. This doesn’t layer well under makeup — it tends to pill on the skin, even when I wait between steps. Because of that, I found it hard to use consistently in my routine. I really like this azelaic acid product. This is a repeat purchase. I have acne-like outbreaks on my face, and this really helps. I wash, use toner, then apply it I was having large bumps, some that were very red and painful, stayed for a long time, but never came to a head. I never have those at all now. It’s such a relief. I was embarrassed to be seen. I still occasionally get a small one, but they go away quickly. This product works best when I use a toner first.

Perfect solution for toning your skin and removing spot if you have dark spots from acne and hyperpigmentation. It doesn’t bleach the skin like other products. So far I love the results!
