I recently tried these postpartum underwear, and they’ve been a lifesaver! They provide up to 12 hours of protection, which is perfect for both postpartum bleeding and occasional bladder leaks. These are like a pull-up diaper/underwear. I brought a few to the hospital and left the rest for use at home. I found they worked great in the hospital while I was wearing a gown, but once I got home, I started wearing sweatpants most of the time and I realized it actually made it more inconvenient to have to fully take my pants off, put a new pair on, and then put my pants back on. The disposable underwear and large pads that the hospital provides worked better in that case (make sure you bring all the extras home!) I did like these for when I went out to appointments those first couple weeks though. I felt they were more discreet and comfortable than the large pads. So all in all, not necessary but nice to have in some instances.

I am 5'3, 130 lbs and these fit great in S/M size. I use these for my period at night while sleeping. They are very absorbent for my heaviest times so I can sleep without worry of leaks. I also love that they are fragrance free! All other period underwear I've tried are heavily fragranced which I cannot stand. I highly recommend this product!
