Fun game for a get to gether

This is a pretty fun game. The directions that come with it are very simple and easy to learn and follow. It is funny to hear some of the things that pop into peoples brains. The cards are good quality, a thick cardboard, are brightly colored, clear, easy to see from across the table and have cute pictures on them. I like the fact that this game doesn't take long. It is just something quick and fun to fill in some time. It is small and easily packed to be taken on trips or to a party. Some downsides: it really is a onetime play game as once you play and learn what all the songs are you really can't play again because you know all the answers so you can just pass it on. It is what we call a throwaway game; once played you toss it to someone else. At only $10 that isn't a ton of money for a throwaway game and depending on how many people you have play you could get a few plays out of the 150 cards. I don't agree with the age 10-99, I feel like my 10-year-old struggled and lost interest quickly as she didn't know 90% of the songs, or knew them once someone started singing it, but didn't know the name. Due to the age of many of the songs I really feel like 15/16 + would be a better age to start. Not that younger kids can't just give it a go with the pictures, my youngest did like that part; trying to decipher what they actually said, but if you have a competitive kiddo that only plays to win, this may not be for them. Overall, this game is enjoyable and a family friendly game opportunity.

I picked this up because I thought a music themed card game would be fun for some gameplay around the holidays. I was a bit worried that it might be full of newer songs that I wouldn't know, or older songs that others may not know. But, each card has pictures that you use to figure out the song title, which means pretty much anyone can play. When we sat down to play, we had 3 adults ranging in age from approx. 45-70 and one preteen. Everyone was able to compete and again sense you were figuring out the title based on the pictures you didn't need to "know" the song. The one downside is if you play it enough you'll eventually know most of the answers, but the game makers suggest that is when you pass it on to a friend. This would be a great game for holiday game play, camping, or just to have on hand when bad weather hits and everyone needs to stay in the house.

While there are a lot of things to like about this game, overall it wasn’t something we enjoyed playing. It is definitely a good size for taking on a trip or to the beach, etc. so that is a plus. Easy enough to learn and at times can be challenging and fun. It is appropriate for all ages so a nice family style game. The price is affordable and reasonable so you don’t need to spend a ton of money for some entertainment. When we played we felt like some of the titles were vague or ones we had never heard of, which once tha happened a few times made it less fun to play. Also, it doesn’t offer enough variation to play over and over. It was an ok game to play a couple times but honestly probably won’t ever be played again. I would not purchase this game again.
