I was very suspicious of yet another high-price razor, but decided to try it anyway. Much to my surprise, they quickly won me over...I love the GilletteLabs razor. The blade is sharp and comfortable and stays that way for weeks on end. Simply put, it is the best razor (including other Gillette razors) by far.

I bought this primarily because I thought the case might be useful -- I didn't expect it to perform noticeably better than the Gillette Fusion 5 that I've been using for years. I was very pleasantly surprised. After using this razor for over 6 months, and doing some back-to-back comparisons with the old razor, I'm convinced that it's much better. With the Fusion 5, I changed blades every week; if I used a blade longer than that, it was unpleasant before the end of the second week. With this razor, I change blades every month. I can feel the difference toward the end of the month, but it's not uncomfortable. I honestly expected this razor to be just marketing hype, but I was wrong.
