Picked up calcium lactate after seeing bubble shots on Instagram and had to try it with my daughter. We made mint julep bubble shots and they turned out so cool. The process was surprisingly easy, fun to do together, and actually worked exactly like the videos. Such a fun little cocktail experiment for a party or girls night. Definitely recommend if you want to try molecular cocktails at home without it feeling complicated.

I got this calcium lactate powder to use with the sodium alginate for making popping boba and it works just like it should. Dissolves easy in water and reacts the right way when you drop the mix in. I still need to perfect my boba process but the powder itself is solid. No weird taste, no clumps, just does what the recipe calls for. Works as intended and I’d use it again.
