Recharge of AC car system with R134a equivalent gas
No instructions but straight forward. 1. Turn thumb screw fully out. 2. Attach to correct can of refrigerant (R134a) non-resealable. 3. Locate low pressure side of AC on your vehicle and remove protection cap. Fit other end of filler hose to valve, securely. 4. Start engine, select coldest setting on air conditioner and put fan on highest setting. Run for aleast two minutes. 5. Note reading on gauge if in green zone, turn thumb screw on can of refrigerant to puncher can seal, then turn thumb screw out again to release gas into AC system, note to shake can and hold upside down whilst charging AC system. Keep checking gauge and close thumb screw valve on can to stop charging the system, when gauge indicates desired setting in blue zone ( 40 to 45). Don't over pressurise AC system damage will result. 6. Make sure thumb screw on can fully closed, then remove top up hose off AC system charging valve on vehicle and replace protection cap. 7. If system is sound and no other faults are present on your AC system. Cold air should be blowing, mine achieved 6.5centigrade when check at air vent with thermometer. Hopefully it will last if no leaks are present in my system. Straight forward job and great results.

Works fine and good value. See pics for more info.
Well made and a good low pressure valve fit, (Land Rover Discovery) The hoses are short enough not to push much air into the system. Always a good idea to re-gas on a very low humidity day if possible to keep as tiny amount of water vapour entering as possible. DO NOT attempt to purge the hose. I have added two photos of the ambient temp and pressure requirements and a basic diagnosis chart for guidance.

Works well just two points to observe.
I used this with a self sealing gas cannister and I found this which might help people. 1. If I screwed the gas cannister too tight no gas came out at the valve end. I had to screw on the cannister, turn the tap all the way down to pierce the cannister and then turn the tap up until the gas could be heard coming out of the valve end. If no gas comes out unscrew the gas cannister, slightly, until the gas comes out. Now use it. 2. Hold the cannister and the part that screws on to the cannister when opening the tap. If you don't the cannister unscrews when opening the tap. Apart from this it worked perfectly. I went to Halford first and they charged my £75 to top it up. The guy did it with the engine off and so was a complete waste of time.

Great device but needs instructions
A good device to use for recharging the Aircon in your car, the only thing that it was missing was a set of instructions on how to connect the pressure gauge, but I figured out that you connect the refill bottle to the gauge first then connect to the Aircon valve on your car, then switch the engine on and turn on the Aircon, after that just twist the knob at the bottle end to release the gas from the bottle to the Aircon, make sure to check the manufacturer specs on how much gas should be in the Aircon system for your particular car. Due to the fact there are no instructions with this device I was not aware of how to operate the tap on the bottle end of the gauge, specifically how to not over tighten the tap to push the pin in the bottle down to fill the aircon system, this has resulted in a bent pin within the tap end of the gauge and has also damaged the bottle which has since leaked all gas from the bottle, so a quick tip make sure to check the pin in the bottle before use to properly assess how much to turn the tap on the gauge.

Wouldn’t bother lost money
Faulty gauge , it wasn’t giving me the right reading , once I connected the can of new liquid even though it had pierced it’s not going through the gauge , took it to a garage who tested the gauge and was told it’s faulty , useless so lost what the gauge cost as well as £25 of new liquid so all in all lost about &40

Would I gas my AC again ?
The product worked for sure but, would I gas my own AC again ? Probably not. It now makes a whining noise when the AC is on. It’s the compressor and I probably should of got it done professionally and paid the price.

UK Honda Civic does not fit well. Too much leakage
The description says the item fits US and EU cars. I don't think this is correct for UK Honda civic as we are not in the EU and the meter does not fit well with the intake L hose. There is a lot of leakage and no clucking sound to show correct fit. I attached the hose and filled the gas with difficulty but cannot return The hose as the gas canister is still attached half full. If I take canister off it will leak the gas into the atmosphere. Buy a better fitting hose.
