love the flavor!... and the nutrition!....
This is my first try of Kinako - traditional roasted soybean powder - so I don't have anything to compare it with... but I love it! It has a very pleasant roasted flavor, is finely ground and mixes well with any food, smoothies, etc. - I especially like it in my overnight oats - and provides a dose of healthy protein and other nutrients. I am not surprised it's "Amazon's Choice". Plus, the value is great. Product of Japan.

Arrived quickly! Long expiration date which is great! Great nutty flavor-saw it used in a hot chocolate recipe! So delicious. I canโt wait see what else I can do with it!

Best tasting kinako
I wasnโt able to find this brand in my regular Asian market where I purchased it for years. To my surprise, I found it on Amazon. Iโve tried other brands of kinako, but their taste falls flat. The Shirakiku brand is a staple in my home and used especially at New Yearโs. The powder is mixed with white sugar to coat warm mochi. Very good!

FANTASTIC EASY TO MAKE SOY NUT BUTTER -- THIS PLUS GOOD ROASTED PEANUT OIL.
This is a fantastic way to make Soy butter without sugar which has been impossible to find. Mix the powder with high quality roasted peanut oil. (You have to try it to get the right consistency.) You can add a little salt or not. FANTASTIC PEANUT FLAVORED SOY NUT SPREAD. I like to mix it into yogurt and eat with fruit for lunch. Great in smoothies. Have fun!

In Japan, soy flour is very common. You pretty much grow up with it. So you see it everywhere. But here, you hardly see any. So I appreciate Amazon for carrying it. This particular one is from roasted soy, which gives much more flavor and aroma. It tastes really good!! The only problem is I don't think it's organic. And soy beans are so abused, you really want organic. I'm wondering if other organic soy flours are just as good as this one. But if you don't care about organic stuff, this is the one to get. The price is reasonable, and the flavor is amazing. I mix it with yogurt at night. It just makes the whole thing so much better!
