VeryComfortable- the wide size made such a difference

I'm so happy that I've discovered Easy Spirit. Will be taking a trip soon and needed some good study walking shoes that didn't look too much like sneakers, and these fit the bill perfectly. The "Navy Multi" print (a Fair Isle sweater type print) looked black in the picture, but was described as navy. I was completely fine with either color, so I ordered. Turns out that they're basically black, which is fine. They're very cozy inside and fit quite well. I typically wear a size 9 in sneakers, and a 9.5 in "real shoes". I ordered this pair in 9, and another color (same style) in a 9.5 and can wear both easily. The 9.5 may require a thicker sock, is all. These shoes are narrower than I'm used to, and I've never had to buy "wide" sizes before, so if you have a wide foot, definitely keep that in mind. The shoes seem to be very well made and will last for quite some time. Great buy! And the seller was a pleasure, got my package in less than the estimated shipping time.

I know that one of the questions asked and answered is about the arch support and I was surprised to see that other reviewers thought the arch support was good. I need very good arch support and bought these shoes on the recommendation of others regarding the arch support but I have to return them because there is no arch support. They have a perfectly flat footbed. If you don't need the arch support then you might like them. I bought the rosewood color and it's a great burnt orange color. The shoe fit as expected in length and width. It's certainly a light-weight shoe so is probably comfortable for long periods of time. My only complaint is that as far as I'm concerned the arch support is non-existent, which was a great disappointment to me.

These shoes are very comfortable. I've been wearing them constantly. However, the arch support for anyone who is a little flat footed is not adequate. That said, it is easy to take out the insole and insert orthodics. At that point they are great!I currently have them in white but will be buying other colors.

Shoes were wide enough

Very lightweight, very supportive, and for those of you who wear narrow widths, they are a true narrow width and fit well. I just bought my third pair of these and the fit is consistent. I take walks around the neighborhood in these instead of sneakers - they are actually more comfortable than my walking shoes. I would buy every color but only a few are available in 11N. How about it, Easy Spirit? Pink, green and blue in 11N? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants them!

I initially gave this a two because the shoes were relatively inexpensive and looked OK. The reason I'm returning them is because the lining and stitching is pulled away inside both shoes and rubbed my feet immediately. Now I find out I have to pay for return shipping and go to the post office. Deficient product and they're hitting me up. I'm really unhappy.It gets worse: I paid $52.99 for these shoes that were so cheap the insides were loose; I paid over $10 to return them via USPS; a week later I was credited $42.65 on my bank account but there wasn't any indication where the credit came from so I had to investigate and find out it came from "FootSmart" Now I have to spend all this time to fight to get the over $20 I spent messing with this company. Where are you Amazon? P.S. THANK YOU AMAZON: THEY REIMBURSED ME $20.34 AND SAID THEY ARE LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE.

great shoes, but it says non skid sole.. but it is not.. wore it for work and almost slipped and fellthe comfort of it is great.. it fits as expected
