Kettles look great..... for about 6 months
We ordered a large amount of kettlebells from Reps, 9lbs to 80lbs 2 of each in February of last year (11 months ago). The bells looked great when they arrived. On arrival they will look just as good as any kettle bell from other competitors, such as Rogue or Kettlebell kings. They really are gorgeous Kettlebells, that have a great grip, and feel great as you are using them. After a few months you could see rust started to come through the coating on the kettlebells. After about 6 months pieces of the coating started to fall off the kettlebells reveling rusted metal.Does this affect how the bell works? No not at all. If these are used in your home gym you probably won't care, but if you own a gym and care about the appearance of your equipment it is a big problem. For a gym owner your equipment must function properly and look the part.I contacted Reps and they promptly responded but offered one solution. To offer me a refund on the amount of money for 2 cans of spray paint to "repaint" my kettlebells. I could not think of a worse strategy. This would only make the appearance of these bells look worse.Due to being outside our 6 month return window we can't return the bells.Functionality: AInitial Appearance: ADurability: F

My favorite
This is my third kettlebell. To start, I purchased a 25-pounder from WallyWorld. Then I bought a twenty "killer-grammer" (45lbs) at a sporting goods store and finally this 35 pounder. This is by far the highest quality of the three . I've got to say, this one is just right for me, not too heavy, not too light. It's the Goldilocks of my kettlebells. The finish is really good. My other two are just rough and bumpy and cause calluses, but this one has a nice satin finish that glides in my hands. When I'm done working out, my hands feel better than when I started. The shipping was fast, and it came wrapped in bubble wrap surrounded by styrofoam in a box within a box secured by plastic straps! No joke!

Poor quality finish
Ok, so actual kettlebell is fine. No structural issues. The finish is horrible. Attached is a photo of all my kettlebells. Dragondoor 24k far left. I've had it since 2014. As you can see the finish is fine after more than 4 years. The other 2 on right are Rep bells. Both are rusting and the finish is flaking off all over. I've had the 32kg for about 1.5 years and the 40kg for about 7 months. Figured maybe the 32kg was just a fluke. Shame on me for assuming the best. Would not recommend. Unless I get a replacement, at some point I'll have to refinish myself or just take the loss and higher quality bells. I train every day, and take care of my equipment. Quality of finish needs improvement!

Love this bell
Love this bell! The finish is very nice and not slick like my other kettlebells. The quality seems very high and the narrow handle makes it much easier to swing though the legs. The flat bottom is great as some other bells have sort of a round bottom which is a pain for storing or doing things like deadlifts. Great deal and would highly recommend. Only downfall was the delivery was a bit messy but I blame that on the postman not RepFitness. It arrived in good shape however.

These are as good as any KB I've used in the past 4 ...
This one completes my second set of the basics 8, 12, 16, 20, 24kg Kettlebells, These are as good as any KB I've used in the past 4 years. I've trained with KB at least twice a week for 4 years. I had rotator cuff syndrome and both my shoulders were offically disable by both VA and the state I lived in at the time.My Kung Fu teacher is StrongFirst certified level 1 instructor. That I still trained with bad shoulders says something about my perserverance, but I used the lightlest bell I could that didn't leave my shoulders feeling injured. I worked into snatches quickely and I went up 4 kg every years. I now swing and snatch 24kg, but at 66 y.o. I do ladders frequently starting with 12kg, 10 reps of each swings, cleans, press or push press and snatches R & L 10 on the minute. Then 24, 20, 16 and if I feel I've time and energy 12kg again.I used the cheapest bells could find for my first set. Those are painted and they were mighty chipped up and beat looking by the time I sold them. Won't happen with these bells. I'm glad I made the purchase. For the money these can not be beat.

Kettlebell for my crossfit workouts
I went to a crossfit gym for a very long time, and still go with a punch pass... but I wanted to start building my home gym with Rep Fitness. My friend has some of their gear and I've used it at my gym too. First it arrived in just 2 days, so that is awesome. It wasn't even prime. Had a minor scuff, but didn't effect the functionality at all. Can't blame UPS for that one, it's heavy. The handle is smooth but slightly textured so you don't need to chalkup. Also, unlike the cheap-o enamel ones offered, these don't chip easily, or become slippery when your hand sweats a bit. This coating is much better than plastic or enamel. The color coding is nice, but not really necessary since I just have a couple of these guys. Would be nice for a gym or class. Flat bottom allows me to perform some push ups using both of them at once. Use it all the time for my HIIT type crossfit style workouts, and super happy with another item from Rep Fitness to add to my lineup. Need to get a rack and barbell still! Waiting for them to get back instock to get it all at once... should be just a few more weeks when Icalled.
