Overall this mower definitely beat my expectations. Pre-purchase: Was looking at robotic mowers for a few years. The gaps were always the same - couldn’t handle shaded yards or you needed to lay a wire. I was not going to lay a wire for a 1.6 acre yard. No thanks. Saw that the Luba2 could handle the shade using AI vision. Excited for the solution, but VERY skeptical. Mower Arrival: My plan was to get this going as soon as I could, believing that it probably wouldn’t work in my yard. There was a 30 day return clock ticking, so needed to figure it out pretty quickly. Assembly: Came packaged very well and with simple instructions. Took me about a 1/2 hour to assemble. I didn’t have a lot of time that first day, so I just thought I’d get it set up outside and make it move. Anchored the GPS and docking station. Phone App: Teaching the mower where to go and not go was very easy. I didn’t have much time, but ended up getting it done in my short time frame. I do not know why the app gets such a low score in the ITunes Store. It’s not the best app in the world, but I found it fairly easy to use and not many glitches. Mowing: Split my lawn into 4 sections. It does a great job with the lawn! It is going around while I am working during the day. I only need to do any trimming and weed whacking. I make it go manually each time, because I worry about a UPS or Amazon truck coming in the driveway and hitting it. I have spent very little time mowing this year! Mowing Quality: It can take a very long time to mow compared to other methods. The width is small, so it takes a long time. It has to recharge in the middle of my largest section, so that can take most of the day. Just need to understand that and do not expect it to be quick. The mower makes very nice lines in the yard. They are very close together, so something to be aware of if you are used to wide lines. You can adjust the mowing height in the app and have it move diagonally or other options each time you mow. My neighbors have commented several times on how nice of a job it does. My wife is happy, because the yard “is always mowed”. I have it mow about 2 times per 10 days or so. Leaves: The mower does not handle leaves well, so be prepared for other ways to handle. I knew this going into the purchase, so I was not disappointed. I usually mulch my leaves, so I still mow manually when the leaves are coming down to get them chopped up. Maintenance: The blades are basically razor blades. They have lasted most of the mowing year with a need to change. Also looks like it just uses one side, so I should be able to flip the blades around and not have to replace them yet. Other than that, just need to keep it clean. Pretty easy to clean it. If you do not clean the charging connection, then at some point it will not charge. Long term: This is the first mowing year, so we will see how it acts next Spring after being in storage all winter. Will update this review as needed.

I purchased this thing so I could spend less time outside working. My yard is full of hills so I ordered this from Amazon in case it didn’t work on my hills. I am happy to report it handles my hills with no issues! The cut is almost perfect but not always so when I am not happy I just send it out again and when it’s done my lawn looks like a fine carpet. Setup was easy but as I said in the opening of this I got this so I could spend less time outside working. And while I am not working as much I find myself spending more time outside watching this thing work in amazement. About the only thing I don’t like about it is it’s so cool I worry about someone stealing it as I live near a busy road. I have seen people see it and pull over and watch it go. I am also sure my neighbors hate me now as it was hot last weekend and they were all out there pushing their mowers as I sat out on my pourch with a cold drink in my hand watching it… and then work. Another neat part about this thing is unless you are 3 or 4 feet away from it you don’t hear it working. I couldn’t believe how quiet it is. Have I told you I love this thing? This is probably the best thing I have ever purchased from Amazon!

Was painless to set up. And Lenny Luba is out there mowing right now. The App seems a little bit clunky, moving around does not always make sense. Would be nice if there was a Windows version of the app, or just the ability to see through the camera so I could monitor it on my computer. Killed my battery on my phone after about an hour of monitoring. Follow up- finished the maiden voyage and looks pretty good. It did attack my wife's flowers, so I will have to put a no go zone around them. Considering the slope and roughness of the grass I am impressed. That was about 1/3 of an acre and it took about 450 minutes including a recharge. I am starting to get use to the app. Follow up: Lenny is doing great, built him his own little house and have permanently mounted the ATK on the roof. Would be nice if then ATK had a little heaver power cable for outside wear. I have mapped about an acre so far and it looks great. I found that putting no go zones around all the trees made things go a lot smoother. Love my Luba 2

It’s not as good as doing the work yourself but it’s very good for what it does. It’s been working for weeks and I’ve only had to “save” it a few times but generally it’s very good about doing its tasks. The only reason I’ve had to help it was due to my layout. Once I fixed it, it was fine. The best part, the time it saves me from weekly yard work. It handles my 1+ acre yard with a decent slope with out issue. Just maintain it, clean it and it does the rest. Oh, of course you have to edge the yard but that’s nothing compared to the time it used to take me. I feel it’s worth the investment and it’s a solid product. Setup was quick as well.

I want to return the mower because to be honest, it is not ready to public release. It has a lot of flaws. The charging contacts on the mower corroded and wore through in about 5 th 6 weeks. This started the issues. Now I can only charge it by manually lifting the mower so that it contacts the pads on a fresh areas of the pads. This is not acceptable. Then it started loosing it position and missing strips of the years then entire sections of the yard requiring me to send it back out to start over to get the entire yard. It also causes it to miss the outer boundary or even run off the curb into the road becoming a hazard to traffic. This is a major safety concern. When it does this, it destroyed the blades on the concrete curb. Resetting the boundary did not fix it. I have a hard time connecting to the mower via Wifi even when on the base 20 ft from a WiFi access point. It also struggles to connect to bluetooth feet away. Some times it sits in one spot and turns in circles while the map shows it is continued mowing. The map thinks it didn't stop. I watch the line disappear as if it thinks it is still mowing but it is not moving. I checked for sticks or similar objects it could have been on and there aren't any. It gets "stuck" on grass from time to time, there is nothing there. I just click continue working and it does without trouble. It dug several holes in my yard doing this. I started getting error messaged about the chassis motor failure this week as well. It is not ready for public release in my opinion. This review is the Luba 2 AWD 5000HX.

After years of wasting time sitting on a riding mower and spending money on gas to mow my 1.5-acre backyard, I finally sold my 52-inch TORO zero-turn mower and bought the Luba 2 Robot. I’ve had this robot for three months now, so my review is based on real experience and learning everything about how it works. I did a lot of research on mowing robots, and Mammotion’s products were the clear choice. The Luba 2 has the best specs in its price range. It arrived in a sturdy, well-packed box delivered by FedEx. Assembly was straightforward, and there are plenty of helpful YouTube videos if you need guidance. As far as mowing performance goes, this robot is spot on. I have four mowing zones mapped out in the Mammotion app, and I schedule it to mow two zones per day. I love that it can mow while I’m making lunch, working in my office, or even taking a nap on the weekend. Cleaning is also very easy—just be careful not to touch the blades with your bare hands, as they are razor-sharp. Replacing the blades is a simple process, unlike working on a full-size riding mower, which can be a nightmare. The blades are inexpensive and easily last for an entire season. Finally, I had a few questions and concerns, and Irene from customer service went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I’ve never had such a fantastic experience with any other company. Mammotion is truly one of the best—offering a powerful, reasonably priced robot mower capable of handling a hilly backyard thanks to its dual motors and all-wheel suspension. Finally they have all the spare parts incase if you need replacement. I am extremely happy cause I never have to mow again, it like I am living in the future world. Thank you Mammotion I am so happy with my purchase.

This lawn mower is amazing. The vision technology and lawn mapping is extremely impressive, 110% would recommend this to anyone even if they have a significant slope on their lawn. It works very well. The mobile app is also very easy and simple to use.

This mower (Luba 2 AWD 5000HX) has been life altering! Live on 1.2 Acre and it's no longer a chore to cut the grass. With a press of a button it goes out on its own using the map and paths I easily and quickly created. Best thing is, no more dumping cut grass into the compost or green bins from my ride mower. I just send it out and keep the grass short. Straighter lines than I ever made. Highly recommend.

The Luba 2 is perfect if you don’t want to worry about mowing and want to save time. It handles my 1+ acre lot with ease and keeps the lawn looking great. The only minor downside is that it doesn’t pick up the clippings, so mowing more frequently helps keep the yard clean. Overall, an excellent investment—5 stars!

Fonctionne très bien. J'aurais aimé savoir avant que le système 4G n'est pas disponible encore au Canada, mais ça fonctionne avec l'antenne. Petit casse-tête pour comprendre au début, mais une fois configuré c'est génial.
