Had the computer running pretty hard pretty consistently for 6 months, running local data collection system for lab simulation of manufacturing environment. Had the computer jammed in a tight space in an odd orientation and where dust could get at it. The main fan bearings started to grind, messaged GMKtec, they sent me both replacement fans, a screwdriver and adhesive pad for fan the next business day, it arrived in a week and I was able to replace and its been running good now for a couple of days. This isn't a industrial grade product but I put it through its paces and the company is willing to send at least fan parts with just confirmation of order after 5.5 months of service.

First, I researched and analyzed the choice to the point of compulsion, comparing various configurations and CPU benchmark comparisons, and this Ryzen 5 variant scores extremely well, and seems to be the sweet spot for the performance/price equation. There are others with better performance figures, but not to the point of justifying the increased price point. Based on my processing requirements, I really didn’t need this much power, but the lower cost options were so far behind in performance, (as much as 200% less performance in many cases) it made no sense to go that route only to save $150 bucks. As for the install, totally painless out of the box setup, and I haven’t had a Windows based computer for 20+ years. The only slight issue is of course, Microsoft’s painfully slow operating system update operation, but that has nothing to do with the GMKTEC machine. The box itself comes professionally packaged, similar in quality to Macs. Impossibly small footprint for this much horsepower, with a great combination of ports …. I like the fact that it comes with 3-3.2 USB’s, and 1-2.0 usb, plus a USB 4 up front. The 32 GB of DDR5 is really what sold me, since the memory sticks alone costs $350-$400. It’s a no-brainer, really. I’m thrilled with the unit ….. I haven’t pushed it hard so far, but it’s virtually silent. It earns a 5 Star easily.

What's very important to me is the ability to power on by itself after power outage, and dual NIC. This along with good performance, small form factor, and Amazon/GMKtec's quick delivery - in this case the same day, has convinced me to purchase GMKtec again whenever the need arises.

This PC is perfect for running moderately demanding video games. I use it for Skyrim, running at the highest settings. The only downside is the cooling fan is sometimes very loud and rattling.

No complaints, it runs most games that I want to play as I bought it for work and game emulation because I can't take my actual gaming pc with me since it's massive. I got this a mini screen and it works perfectly.
