It was a hard fall to the floor, but the phone is undamaged. Great bumper style case. Love the way it opens and closes. Super easy install.

I am currently on my second one. I purchased the first one and when I tried to get it put onto my phone, the clasp broke. I assumed I did something, but now I believe that it was just junk. I purchased a second one and I was incredibly gentle installing it onto my phone. First of all, it blocks a lot of signal that my phone should be getting. Second, the clasp has become loose in under 2 weeks of use and no longer holds. Half the time, the bottom swings out and snags on my clothing as I pull it from my pocket. Basically any cord that I have used will not fit through the opening to charge my phone, so as a result, I unclip the bumper and swing the bottom out to charge my phone every night. This is leading to it not latching very well at all. There is also not enough space to hit the fingerprint reader to unlock the phone. I have to shift my thumb everytime I try to unlock my phone because the first attempt I wasn't able to make enough contact. I would love to think I could get a refund for the 30 dollars I spent on this cheap junk, but I highly doubt I would see any of my money back.

The case fits and work surprisingly well. It is well designed and I think there are 4 holes cut out around the edges for the antenna's on the phone. The signal strength does not seem to be affected. The case is sturdy and well designed, giving the phone a premium feel. I bought the other plastic/rubber case that can be used with mods and it was a terrible fit. I should have bought this one first. The only issue with this aluminum case is that the majority of my USB C cables have trouble plugging into the phone. The cut out for the charging port is smaller than most ends on cables. This is why I am giving this a 4 instead of a 5.

Fits perfectly. Works with all compitable mods (it was known not to work with the game pad, so no points lost there!) the only issue I've had with it, is the clasp broke on my wife's bumper, but is holding up just fine for me.

The good: * It does fit and allow the attachment of motomods * All the buttons work through the bumper The not-so-good: * Even though there is an opening, it effectively disables the ability to utilize the fingerprint sensor. Though I found the fingerprint recognition very convenient for unlocking the phone, I also found its placement in a position that the phone was unlocking when not desired (such as when placing the phone back into my pocket or bag). So, in my case, I re-installed the cover specifically to "disable" the fingerprint sensor. * Considering it is aluminum, it may not protect the phone itself as much as the soft bumper covers. * The buttons do work, though they can be difficult to find just by feel. * The opening around the USB-C port is too small for some USB-C cables to fit. I have not used the bumper cover with the included back cover since I leave the motomod battery installed 100% of the time.

This is a terrific product for those of us with a Motorola Play Z phone. The main function of these phones is to be able to use the moto mods to expand our phone's capability but they offer NO protection (confirmed this the hard way). This bumper case offers protection needed plus allows use of the mods. At first I thought it didn't fit but it does - it's just very tight in order to secure the phone.

Love almost everything about this, it has a great look, fits my aesthetic, the fingerprint reader is fine, I have a loss of cellular connection (I'm on cricket for those wondering) It'll drop from half way to almost nothing at times. I dropped it last night, the phone looked like it hit the lower left corner, the phone is scratch free but from taking it off and putting it on often (I play with your he gamepad at home when I'm not doing assignments) the latch has noticably weakened to the point that it'll come undone just walking. If you own a Gamepad or 360 camera and use it often, I suggest you look for a similar case with a different latch type.

This is such a remarkable piece of hardware. I bought it and shortly after it arrived I showed it off to a family member who then felt they had to buy it too. This case is great, and my family member is even content with the Z4 model.

The bumpers fall out right away, lose them . The unit becomes lose when bumpers fall out.

Only complaint is that the fingerprint reader does not work very well with this case installed.

Tenía mis dudas pero al final no me arrepiento de comprarlo, si eres de los que usa sus moto mods es buena compra, lo malo que hace que se sienta más ancho para las manos y no pudieras sujetar bien y en el centro de carga aveces no entra bien el cable o si se mueve poco ya se safo y no carga, cuestión de dejarlo en una posición cuando pongas a cargar el teléfono

Covers and protects everything and able to swap between mods easily

Fits great strong and durable, can still use biometrics and there are rubber bumpers on the corner to help protect it if your phone falls.
