Why wouldn't you keep a set of these in the emergency kit? I keep a spare set handy in a separate kit that I can toss to someone in need.They don't go bad, provided you give them the most basic level of care and storage.So at the absolute worst, you have spent money on some piece of mind that you should be thankful you never needed to use.Even if you don't have any first responder skills to help, this could be part of a kit that could save someone's life - perhaps a stranger in need, or perhaps your own self, or loved ones..Whoever does show up first could certainly appreciate the sense you had to have this handy.Tourniquets aren't something you want to have to go digging for either..And if you ever need to use ONE.. You will wish you had a few..Do you keep a fire extinguisher handy as well..!?

a bit cheezy on the scissors I'm an ER RN and am accustomed to heaftier trauma scissors. Cat trouniquet is great but the twist tie twill is tooooo short but the cat tourniquet itself it well made, well stitched. I think black is not the best color to see it should be bright blue or fluorescent green

looks to be decent, shears are a little cheap but should be functional in a pinch

The tourniquet does not seem to be the best of quality, but it is worth the price, good for a backup option, or just throw it in your glove box for emergency occasions.

Having own several TQs of different brands, this is by far the worst one. It feels flimsy and I would not trust it to hold up in a scenario where you would need it. I usually want to cheap on on reserve TQs because I think "it's better than nothing", but this TQ is basically nothing.

This is a less expensive tourniquet but it could potentially save a life if properly used. Shears are cheap also but for emergency would hold up.

I didn't get any scissors. 3 stars all i can give for that. Being generous even though i shouldn't be.
