Xtire Motorcycle Tire Sealant 8 oz Tube Tubeless Bikes Scooters ATV Dirt Bikes

I bought this because it said it was rated for highway use and for use in tubes. I have a honda shadow that has spoke rimes so it uses a tube. I got a small screw in the tire while rolling around in a garage (not a tear while riding).1) When the product arrived, the directions said use the included valve stem removal tool (which was missing). This could be a problem with Amazon or the product seller. I happen to have a valve stem puller so I was able to move forward. Strike 12) The directions also said to use the included tube to transfer the liquid into the wheel, this was also missing meaning I had to come up with a method to get the fluid into the valve stem. Luckily I had a small container with a pointed tip that I was able to get 95% of the goo into the tube. Strike 23) Following the directions and filled the tube with air and drove it around, when I got back I could still hear air leaking out. The hole was in the middle of the tread so I parked with the hole on the down side so the fluid would fill it in. Nothing worked. Parked the bike for a week in that position, filled up with air and it was leaking as bad as always. This stuff is a joke. Strike 3 - Your outGood thing I wasn't depending on this on the road. Save yourself the money and pass on this purchase. I ended up having to get a new tube and tire for around $200 but at the time I thought it was worth the gamble. There were few reviews so I felt I would help by sharing my experience.UPDATE (9-26-18): After my somewhat harsh review, I was contacted by X-Tire and they sent me 2 new containers of the stuff (with the included tools) and a letter addressing my concerns. This stuff is mainly intended to be preventative not a spot repair (I was looking for a hail-Mary in my situation). Only time will tell (and hopefully it is a long time before I test it out). I am giving 2 stars back because they obviously stand behind their product and they went out of their way to earn back my trust. Kudo's to X-Tire for their service and support.

I was about to install this, and I read all the FAQ details. Hmmm.Not recommended for existing flats. Well, ok...Only good in the tire/tube for 2 years. Ugh.Not good for sealing punctures from "glass or metal"... huh? That's gotta be wrong.Worst of all, you can't balance a tire with the sealant in it. Gotta do it before adding.All in all, I'm not going to use it. Too many gotcha's.

Great presentation, came with everything you need to install it. I'm using it in a vstrom 650, will report back after a few weeks (slow leak issue)seems like a great companyvery fast shipping, great price, I even got a great gift from them! awesome!! loving it already hope the product is as good as the company.

Amazing, sealed 2 tires maliciously punctured by my "girlfriend" because I was spending more time with my bike than her. Well, I poured the X2 into each tire, which was punctured with a sharpened screwdriver, and this stuff, after 2 applications (1 pouch total per wheel) sealed them up good as new. Now, I'm back with my baby, despite the haters. My girl? I have no idea what she's doing.

I use my motorcycle just on the weekends and every time before I go out I needed to put some air on my front tire.I searched on the web something could help me with this situation and I found this Xtire.I was going to ask for help to my friend to the installation but than I tried myself, following the instructions and it was very easy actually.More than a week passed and my tire is still good to go. So I think the product had sealed any hole that it could have had.Loving it!

After a lot of reserch I ended chosing Xtire against mostly because of highways use (Xlime is not suppose to be used on highways.) The product came ready to be installed, including the tire valve extractor, which is also a key chain. The installation was very easy and clean and the ride is very smooth. I also noticed an improve in the vibration/balancing due to the centrifugal force.

Just what I was looking for. Can't wait to try it.

This was easy to install into the tire as stated and seems to be working fine on a new rear tire I installed on my CBR600. I will now use Xtire in all my motorcycle tires and have convinced all my friends and family to make the change.
