This powder was great, it killed all types of bugs as soon as they came into contact with it. Its texture is like talcum powder so it needs a good suction hoover to clear it up once the job is done. It advised to wear a mask & gloves but I didn’t and I’ve lived to tell the tale ha! As long as you can get it down fairly quick and keep standing back so you don’t constantly breathe it in, I think it’s fine without gloves & mask. I just washed my hands thoroughly after and changed my clothes as it does puff up a little bit. I found this great value for money & it sprinkled out of the bag easily enough. It can get a bit messy just sprinkle it carefully. It doesn’t have any special sprayer or opening, I just kept the bag half sealed so it couldn’t all fall out in a big lump. Highly recommend!

So I decided to wait to review just in case it didn't work!Amazing stuff!! We had a dodgy bag of compost from a local supermarket which introduced fungus gnats into our indoor plants. The nasty little things were reproducing quickly and though yellow fly stickers were catching adults we needed to address the root cause. A light layer of this magic over the exposed soil, covered completely with no gaps, has left me astounded. After 10 days, no more gnats are appearing...hallelujah. Have now topped with grit and hopefully problem solved.THIS STUFF IS FAB!

We tried this Diatomaceous Earth (DE) powder to deal with a carpet moth problem, but unfortunately it didn’t solve the issue for us.That said, our case was quite severe, so this may still work better for lighter infestations or as part of a broader pest-control approach. The product itself seems fine - it’s easy to apply with a duster, feels natural and non-toxic, and gives peace of mind if you’re trying to avoid harsh chemicals in the home.We followed the usual advice around application (edges, cracks, affected areas), but didn’t see a meaningful reduction in moth activity on its own. In the end, we had to look at stronger or more targeted solutions.I wouldn’t say the product is bad — just that expectations should be realistic. For preventative use or minor crawling insect issues, it may be effective, but for established carpet moth infestations it may not be enough on its own.Best for:• Light or early-stage infestations• Preventative use• Households avoiding chemical treatmentsNatural and easy to use, but not powerful enough for our situation. A 3 star for us due to limited effectiveness in a severe case.

Have tried this for ant control. Will see next year if it works long term.

Very dusty but the ants don’t like it so seems to be working ok so far. Bag size was good for the price.

Works brilliantly on pests

Purchased as I couldnt get rid of thrips on indoor plants. The plants I put this on didnt get any more thrips till I washed it off. y other plants got the thrips. Its now on all plants. put on with a paintbrush and sprinkled on the back of the leaves and around the soil. Excellent sized bag and great value for money. Need a mask so you dont breath in as can cause irritation. If you have bugs and are struggling with them on your plants I do recommend this

Potentially a good fertiliser but did nothing to reduce the bug problem in my raised planter beds. Powder also really sticks to leaves, particularly when watered or it rains.
